I posted this below but I had the same question so looked it up. Disney doesn't own the copyright. đThe song…
oh!!! thank you so much for the information. and apparently, the reason was that they werenât interested in commercially exploiting their media, which feels incredibly ironic considering how capitalism driven and exploitative theyâve become now.
i wonder how did they get the copyright permission for the disney theme they used at the end of ep 7... disney is known for being extremely strict with their copyright business
the guy who wasted everyone's day by making her change outfits and dismissing all the plans they already had dared…
i mean⊠that's exactly the point. he's completely hypocritical when it comes to her. âtime is gold,â sure, but the second she's involved, he'll waste everyone's time, including his own, without hesitation. that's what the beach conversation was really about. he knew he was being unfair and a big of a jerk when he snapped at her like that, but it's his way of trying to stop himself from falling even deeper into a love he believes can't go anywhere rn. and she sees straight through it. that's why he looks hopeless in her eyes bcz no matter how hard he tries to push her away for his own sake, everything he does still revolves around her and he ends up contradicting himself
i would say it is more than just luck, she often talks about auditioning for the dramas only when she reads the concept and finds something in it that can motivate her or bring something new out of her. her love for cinema and its autonomy plays a big role here
I just donât understand Dong-man. Why doesnât he just work on another script since Weather man is not working…
it has so many reasons, but if we go from a filmmaker's perspective, he is an idealistic one. he prefers authenticity over commercialism. and it is much more special to him than any other project he can ever create bcz it has years of experience and emotional weight dongman put in it
as a film enthusiast myself, it felt like a love letter to cinema, while at the same time blending that passion into a story about people who are only half present in society of people who seem to find satisfaction in themselves only by watching others remain trapped in that same state of incompleteness.
dongman is carrying a deep resentment. not only toward the people he sees as less talented yet far more successful than himself but toward the 20 years he feels he has wasted bcz of his idealism in filmmaking. there's smth symbolic in the way he is always hungry, always binge eating as if he is trying to fill that void those lost years have left behind. he wants to become whole through the one story he has been working on for two decades bcz he believes it will somehow mend every wound he carries. what makes it so painful is the sense that this may not actually be true. what he truly needs is a genuine human connection that will help him overcome this resentment. he is constantly talking even thou he seems to know that everyone hates hearing of him bcz speaking is the only way he knows how to assert his existence in the life he once fought so hard for
byun eunah also feels incomplete, but for now what we understand of her halfness seems to come through her relationships with the people around her. she moves through life by crushing other people's dreams yet we still don't know what her own dream truly is or whether she even loves her job at all. hedonistic happiness can be said for most of the characters here but especially her, since she had a monologue abt feeling like her every wound would be gone once she fell in love but then realized that it wasn't the case. she is self destructive mentally. her feeling like she is attacking people with her stare and then blaming herself for it was a great metaphor even tho i am not sure if the story will get a supernatural turn like the writer did with another miss oh. so i am just taking it as a metaphor.
the first episode ending with billy elliot and ep 2 ending referencing it was such a brilliant touch. both younjung and kyohwan are big film enthusiasts themselves, so i can only guess how much they loved working in it.
ayway, it was a great introduction to the story i just wish we had chance to spend more time with byun eunah. it became better at ep2 so i am sure it will be much more as the story progresses.
the audacity of me getting mad at dan for not giving a fuck about the 2D characters but then just skipping every scene that doesn't have my favorite characters (basically just my transmigration trio and mr. bei <3)
That is ml's actual son, the empress drugged him and he got SA ed, I think the mother is Lady Shanyi from Yan…
it is not shanyi, shanyi came a long time after this horrific incident happened and all she did was just trying to assasinate him which she died attempting. the real mother of the crown prince was a no-name palace woman who was later killed by the empress dowager.
i knew it was gonna be exactly my cup of tea but watching it is more enjoyable than i ever expected... my finals just ended today and i am having the best time of my life.
"news" and it is a twitter copy paste from a xk fan acc that took it from a cheap douban gossip post... if your credible news is this, then it is so pathetic.
