An Oscar Worthy Production
It takes guts for a screenwriter, producer, director, and the actors to portray the truth, especially when the truth shows that life is ugly, and this piece of Korean life they are representing is ugly. However, for change to happen, the truth has to be told. I hope this small piece of truth will bring much needed change within the Korean military service. I equate this alongside true stories told in cinema like All the President's Men, Silkwood, Erin Brockovich, North Country, and Semper Fi: Always Faithful. It's a hard watch, but well worth it.
