Let's give this imaginary situation a little bit of a background. They're not partners or a pair. They had sex once for all we know from the previous episodes. So Jin is entitled to nothing at this point.
Jin knows how Akin is when drunk. He already took advantage of him before in a pretty similar situation. So, if we pretend that he now cares about him, the first thing he should have done is to call his crew/manager and ask about his whereabouts and at least show some concern. For the sake of the plot, he didn't do that.
Instead, he confronted Akin with that: "Anyone who gets close to you, they all fall for you. It depends on you, whether you choose to play along or not." literally blaming him for "playing along" without knowing the circumstances. Akin responded with "Listen to me first". Did he listen? Of course not.
It doesn't matter how you twist it, Jin is an a$$hole. Will they redeem his stupid character? Of course they will, it's a fictional series.

Jin is just young and stupid. If he had the maturity of Akin's character, he would have known that something is not right when he called him and another man answered his phone.

Contrary to your opinion, I think that this topic should be explored by series to teach the audience of the danger and consequences, minus giving the characters a redemption arc, unless it's in a jail cell.
These topics shouldn't be a tabu because people will be afraid of speaking about their experiences. It's a tough topic to speak among close friends and family, let alone in public.
