After 313 watched series on this account only, I can safely say that this will be the easiest 10/10 rating I'll ever give on these pages. Even if I want to nip pick and try to find a flaw with the series, I fail miserably. Cast, crew, it's all SUPERB!

Just to clarify something, Even to date (2026) in Christianity, same sex relationships are considered a sin, meaning you'll go to hell for it. Even though the series is set in 1996 (I think...) Tanrak's biggest struggle will be following the doctrines that promise him meeting his parents in heaven or going for love and go to hell. There's no in between for him. There are these religious rules he's been following all his life, that Barth is shattering with every episode.
In reality, with a number of scandals within the Christian church, the public has been demanding for the Pope (head of Catholic church) to take a stand on same sex marriage for decades. Although, the current one does not publicly supports same sex marriages, he was (if I'm not mistaken) the first Pope to publicly condemn laws that criminalize same sex relationships, which for an institution with 2000+ years of existence is a big step forward.
We're 5 episodes into the series and it's time to stfu! I read all you comments, blocked most of them. The cast and the actors never put a label on the series. If you like it, go on with it, if you don't bye.

I've never shipped them and I said it a million times here and on HSF. That's my problem with them or so it seems. I watched their shows for what they are, without putting any labels.
I've blocked half MDL because of them and I'm just here for the acting, their interactions and that bond that we'll never be a part of. They are amazing actors and don't need to be on their laps. That much I can say.
You know a show is doing amazing when both the haters and the fans are following every step of the way. It was the same with HSF, it's the same now with WU. SkyNani, you're famous and nothing will stop you. 8.7 is a decent rating, but can be higher. The amazing acting and plot is what will makes us come back here again and again. 😁
