I have this MDL tradition where I rate series an episode before the end. And believe me when I say this, it's the easiest 10/10 I'll give on a BL this year. They stole my heart from episode 1 and still keep it in a chokehold until today.
Cast, crew, cinematography, music, everything is outstanding! For me, it's very rare to love every character with passion but they did it! I cannot be happier to tune in for this series. Exceptional acting from Inn and Ongsa, you were BORN to be actors and I cannot wait for your future projects. I bow to the casting director, you don't even know what you did!
Looking forward to the last episode as they'll be smashing it once again.

I'll just answer the "Phob’s political choice" part. The series is based on real historical events and thus Phob's character is portrayed as a very strong believer. He's equally dedicated to the cause he's supporting and to the love he has for Thin.
He's torn between these two to a point he's even questioning his political choice, but he also sees the big picture that this choice makes a difference or will make a difference in the years to come, which is now modern day Thailand (guess who thought him that).

It's freaking unbelievable what talent can do. They were BORN for The edge of horizon. Just fking give them all the awards so I can sleep in peace!

Heart wrenching is what this series is and I'm soooo here for it. 🥺 Episode after episode, I cannot praise the cast more. Every single person has its place, story and is doing a fantastic job, nothing more, nothing less. But today, my whole admiration goes to grandma. She literally made me teary in every freaking scene. Lady Eed Duangjai Hathaikarn, I bow to your talent, may you grace us with your acting for many more series to come!
And that black and white contrast at the end was peak cinematography, wow just WOW!

Sadly, sometimes people are just to quick to comment and not look into the depth of the characters. In this series, there's no black and white but multiple shades of any color.
I think I've said it somewhere in the early episodes but if you're here just for the BL, the NCs and the pretty faces, you're definitely in the wrong place. Phob, Thin, Chad, the father, grandma, they're all very complex characters.
This series comes with real Thai history, Thai culture of the century and understanding why the characters are what they are. Once you stop applying your 21st century whatever and do some google search, I promise you, you will LOVE it!

"If it were you, would you have chosen the same?" Knowing the history, no. Knowing what he was fighting for, absolutely not BUT if I were him I would have done it all over again. Especially these days, it's hard to find people who stand by their believes, principles and literally have balls. Phob is just one of these rare gems.
Believe it or not, he's my absolutely favorite character in the series. He's so up my alley, being passionate about something and losing stuff and people along the way, I love him with passion.
I like the father, he's annoying af! Can't wait to see his face when he realizes Phat is a pure whatever tf he wants. It will be my favorite episode. 😁
