an inspiring kdrama about family, love, and healing
The plot of this k-drama is simply beautiful! It was simple, healing, and romantic at the same time.
I like how the lead characters were both very flawed people, and they slowly heal through meeting each other. It's also nice to see the character development and growth of our leads as each episode passes by.
Storytelling was almost perfect expect that I felt that the ending or the episodes before the ending was a bit rushed, and messed up, some of the scenes were redundant (they kept showing flashbacks), although i understand why they placed it to wrap up some scenes and also the ending.
I also appreciate how well they balanced the story. The heavy moments from the scars and trauma of our ML and FL, was perfectly balanced by the light side plots of this show. There are 3 more pairings in this drama aside from our leads to look forward to, which made this drama even better and interesting! They are just too cute to resist and I want to see them more!
The casting was amazing, I did not expect Lee Sung Kyung to pull this genre very well also she's very pretty in this show, the make up, hair styling and fashion was just so on point! Loving her bags as well!
Chae Jong-hyeop was great too! It's not easy to pull two different personalities and he did it so well! His micro-acting too with his expressions when zoomed in was just amazing as well! He is a great actor and I fell in love with him because of his acting here! The other guys too the one who played Yeon Tae Seok and Cha Yu Gyeom were good looking and pulled great chemistry and acting with their pairs!!
Overall, the drama was a nice and memorable watch, I will surely miss this and rewatch it if I do! However its not perfect there are parts of the show that could have been better.
