Imo the jokes were unfunny and the delivery felt unnatural and overdone although i get it was intentional but it still felt off i couldn’t laugh to a single scene, but enjoyed the plot
Watched this bc someone said as soon as he figured he liked her he went straight to business, and it turns out they lied to me, if anything he built a friendship with her, we saw the second lead with her more than with him at first, 1st ml confessed in the last few episodes after agesss and when sis was abt to go celibate, there definitely is tension but the focus was more on the plot line which btw was great, i loveeeed the fl’s character, intelligent, wise, and soft, but also fiesty.
Unexpectedly good, i watched this when i was in a slump and dropping every drama i was picking up especially school related ones but ended up really enjoying this.
I really need her to not confess in the next episode.... I'm gonna implode from second hand embarrassment. Confess…
I mean he’s her teacher so I don’t want her to confess untill after she graduates and we get the timeskip but her confessing and getting rejected and meeting him again in a few years is also a possibility so maybe sure, i’ve been hesitating on starting most dramas bc they all look fun then u start them and they’re slow or overrated like filing for love or sold out on u but this one was really a hidden gem
I wasn’t planning on watching it but i’m so glad i did, 10/10 comedy i just kept laughing throughout this whole series and wondering how they managed to film it with a straight face then saw the bts and realised they couldn’t hold it in either lmaooo (i don’t usually laugh out loud snd this much watching dramas) binged all 10 episodes in one afternoon and can’t wait for next episodes, i think there’ll be a timeskip, he’ll win the fields award and she’ll become a novelist and maybe confess then?? That’d be nice, or it’ll be just a coming of age plot with her teacher rooting fir her etc
First ep was so fun, i love that they’re both a lil evil, the acting is so good too, i’m invested Update: i hate the fl’s acting in ep3 the sweet/innocent tone as her past self during joseon era doesn’t suit her one bit, it feels unnatural and irritating
I rewatched this twice i think bc i love it so much but ughh i keep forgetting how much it makes me cry and that i actually hate his parents i feel so bad for him. Still a 10/10 for me their chemistry was soooo natural and i really thought i’d be seeing these two in more dramas bc you rlly can’t even tell it’s just acting. I’ll rewatch it again and again and i’ll keep recommending it to others it’s so worth it and funny when they’re not making us depressed..
Man these last two episodes were the absolute best and funniest, the chemistry was amazing and natural, i just realllly wish we had more of them dating 10 episodes would’ve been perfect, i really think soon rok is the perfect choice, he’s honest to his feelings, he puts her as his top priority, he has boundaries with others, and loves her so dearly and openly i’m going to miss them so much we literally only got 2 episodes of them dating realising that makes it feel bittersweet. 😔
i am thinking of dropping it too , especially the repetative "stand by your maaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaannnnnnnnn"
I dropped it for good. But also there’s barely anything good being released rn besides yumi’s cells and perfect crown so i might go through old cdramas to fill the void 😔 it really hits u how important the soundtrack is when u hear an annoying song over and over every few scenes right!
I’m only in the first episodes and so far so good but the female lead’s face fillers are so distracting, her acting is known to be bland anyway too so it’s not helping Update: the script feels awkward at times. Potential is there but every ep is less interesting than the previous one, the romance was indeed unnecessary bc there was no chemistry to begin with it felt like it was thrown in there out of nowhere. And we literally never see this supposed charming side of her which makes those around her obsessed with her.
I picked this up and dropped it severaaaal times over the past 3 years, the music is so repetitive and annoying and the drama slow and boring, i reallly tried liking it but i just can’t get myself to go beyond ep 6, the couple has natural chemistry tho too bad it was wasted
I remember hating the ml in season 1 my good sis yumi deserves better than a broke bum who looks homeless and like he barely showers then when he made money he became condescending, and although season 2 was great and somewhat better than 1 the ml got swayed easily which means disloyalty and leaving a door open for cheating that’s why i said afterwards she deserves someone rational who puts boundaries and they really emphasised on boundaries lmaoo i hope the 8 episodes only is a joke, we deserve morreeee Ps: idk if it’s just me but shin soon rok’s rational cell sounds exactly like park bo-young the actress, i even thought she was voicing it
Sometimes focusing too much on the cinematography ruins a series and takes the soul out of it, hopefully it gets better but ep 1 to me looks like an edit more than a dramaand i’m having a hard time feeling any true emotions about it bc ut’s not pulling me in beyond the physique of yan xun. Gorgeous man. But that’s it.
Update: i hate the fl’s acting in ep3 the sweet/innocent tone as her past self during joseon era doesn’t suit her one bit, it feels unnatural and irritating
