Just finished ep. 10. Here are my thoughts on Love Mechanics:
Cons:
- There is only one good steamy scene (in episode 1). Even the ep. 10 steamy scene was rushed and really far from a hot scene. I was hopping for a thanrtype level of hot scenes but nope, not even close.
- At first it was funny when someone interrupted when they were making out, but soon it just wasn't cute anymore and it was frustrating.
- I just wish they wrapped everything up a little bit better. Eg. It wasn't a wise decision to have Mark following Vee in the end of ep. 10 after everything they went through... i wanted them to have a good relationship now and this just proved they will never be able to trust each other.
- The plot/scrit. There isn't anything outstanding about the plot and the script. There are many fillers and things that doesn't make much sense. Eg. the boxing match.... suddenly there is this weird creepy villain that wants Mark and Vee and his friends decide it's a smart idea to risk his life. Vee is straight out crazy so i get why he would accept the match, but it doesn't make sense that his friends would support that. Also, lefting the door open when you are making out? really? haven't we seen that before?
Pros:
- YinWar chemistry is amazing
- YinWar acting is top notch. Yin was so charming here... even though i hated Vee 80% of the time, i couldn't truly hate him all the time because he is so charismatic.
Overall, even though this is far from flawless, this is a solid show. Their chemistry and acting was able to turn this into an enjoyable watch, even with the not so good script.
I'm just done with Ep 8. This isn't the first BL Series where I'm disappointed that he main couple get's back…
i disagree. Vee is a hot mess, he is selfish, immature and really annoying sometimes. I believe Mark was too nice and didn't deserve to go through all that because of Vee.
So they decided to give 1min (or less) screen time to the most interesting couple of this series (Tim and Mai)? are you kidding me?
The editing of the Tim/Mai scene was so badly done. Whoever did it should be fired! There is a cut in the middle of the scene that is so obvious. I bet they deleted the interesting dialogue Tim/Mai had and all we got was that ... They decided it would be a smart idea to just resolve the whole conflict so quickly.
About Kim/Mek: i don't care about them anymore. A few weeks ago i replied to someone here saying that Kim and Mek's chemistry is not so bad, but i take it back! They have no chemistry at all, it got worse after all that boring drama started.
I was enjoying this until episode 8 but now it's so boring.

I'm not into politics focused plot. Before it was released i thought it would be a show about bad boys and gangster but it was far from that.
The awful special effects. Those jumpings were ridiculous, it didn't seem real at all. Everytime one of them would jump, i would cringe so hard. It's not like the show used a bunch of SFX so they could have put more effort into those few jumping scenes imo.
The twins plot wasn't developed enough. The premise of not me is white living black's life so he can find out what happened to him but the series only focus on that at the end. Not me focus so much on the politics that they forget about Black/White situation. It's frustrating. I wish they had focused more on that.
The awful double scene. I don't remeber exactly which ep that happened but it was towards the end. there is a scene with black and white talking and they didn't even bother using a double that looked a bit like Gun. They didn't focus on the double's face but it was clearly not someone similar to Gun.
I truly believe Not me could have been better if GMMTV had given the director more freedom. I heard she wanted to have more explicit scenes and given Not me's plot, it would have made sense.

One thing that bothers me about GMMTV's productions is that they are never daring with the hot/explicit scenes like Kinnporsche and Cutie Pie.
That scene with First and Gawin could have been even even better if the director had been allowed to portray it the way she wanted. (the paint scene)
Not me needed a bigger budget given the complexity of the plot.

it's so weird that here everyone is being so mean to vice versa but on twitter/reddit people are enjoying it and saying good things about it...
