Finally figured out why SeonJae is so annoying and always looking to pick a fight. The guy should have remained a criminal lawyer. Instead, due to greed, he got into corporate law but he is just bored because he doesn't get to duel or throw insults in the office. So in his spare time, he fights with TaeGyeong or Lucia or Stella.

Yea he has presence. Fingers crossed, he moves on to more significant roles. Sometimes, it happens slowly over the years. Randomly you will watch an old drama/movie and you will see a famous actor with a small/barely there role!

That was a real fun episode in how explosive it was. Loved the eye battles that GyungChae and Lucia had going on. GyungChae smirks and Lucia smirks back, confusion in GyungChae's eyes but no time to process before SooJung came in to pull hair. The two sisters are now set up for epic battle while Lucia gets to sit in the sidelines and watch like a tennis match.

Wonder where JiSeop will fall; am wondering if he will be next and what will happen for him to get riled up -- maybe something to do with his wife? They do seem to be happy together.

Finally Seri is likely going to take this as evidence that KyungChae did something to her birth mother and pull away. After all, if KyungChae had something to do with what happened SooJung's mom, then it is only logical the same applies to Seri. KyungChae will not be able to explain that she is bio mom because that will only further distance Seri. This drama is getting more fun to watch!

Is this the last we will see/hear from BoA?? It would be interesting if she continues to pop up (maybe her running away will be a total disaster) and there will be revenge/ill-will/all sorts of dramatics! Crossing my fingers for some makjang vibes for this drama.

Chairman wiped his face with a handkerchief and left it there. This isn't crime show but fingers crossed, that little scene wasn't just random and instead used as evidence later to convict him.

Will TaeGyeong now lose his idealism? Maybe he will understand where Lucia is coming from and start following a similar strategy? What do folks think?

Seriously! I too want SunJae to get that smirk punched off his face. Right now, there seems to be no dirt on him to bring him down. So I wonder what it will take for him to lose his arrogance and become genuinely desperate and human.

Ooh, so there are rumours that Seri is actually KyungChae's child but was registered to Chairman instead. It looks like SooJung or anyone else hasn't connected the dots but people still do find Seri and KyungChae's connection strange.

More I see KyungChae unravel, the more it makes sense why no one was bothered in this family by Seri's antics in the beginning of this drama. Basically it runs in the blood and it is highly likely that behind KyungChae's icy cold veins, she too was just like Seri.

It is also likely that she too has committed a few questionable or perhaps even illegal acts/crimes. However, Chairman covered for her just as KyungChae covered for Seri. The family as a whole was following destructive patterns which is why no one thought much of what happened to Miso. It was par course.

Lucia smirks that KyungChae is predictable because she is following what she did to Miso. This also means that there are likely other victims if KyungChae (as well as chairman) have subconsciously formed a kind of mental playbook on what to do with people with people who crossed them.

Well that was a twist ending -- will JiHyuk take up Jung Boah's offer? It would be interesting if that happens....

Yea I found that scene very disturbing. There is no reason sometimes to explain the lack of attraction. It is what it is. So by trying to corner someone, it comes off rather scary.

She is also really mad whenever SooJeong's mom is mentioned. So her anger seems to predate this hospital deal as well the first love. We need more back story here!

Stella had to gain power, money, networks and connections. So I think that was she up to in the years after losing her son. She talks about ex-husbands. So she might have married several rich old men in order to get to where she is now -- a position of doing chess moves from a safe distance till it is time to shake things up. Probably that is why she is encouraging Lucia honeytrap chairman.

Why is KyungChae is so mad about chairman having a romantic life? Her anger doesn't seem to be particular to Lucia. Even if Chairman had hooked up with more age-appropriate Stella, she would have still been piping hot mad.

Interesting real life story. I heard of something similar but more scandalous from a gym friend years ago. She went home and was totally taken aback by the swirling gossip. So in a certain party, a famous businessman of that area walked in with his girlfriend and everyone was totally taken aback - the girlfriend was his daughter-in-law!!!!!!!
Basically she got annoyed with her husband (the son) who didn't have any of the attributes of his father that made him successful. Their marriage was rocky from the start and just devolved. Not sure when the affair started but at that moment, they were separated and on the way to divorce.
Businessman had no qualms or embarrassment about what society taught and was openly flaunting that this girl was his girlfriend. Meanwhile his wife and son were hiding in shame and not meeting people.

A haircut in kdramas always signify some sort of emotional leap for the character. There was also super dramatic music with the scene. Maybe they are showing that she will be against everyone including her father?

So the revenge plan is becoming clearer -- basically since they took MiSo's life, the plan is to take what is precious from them. So with Chairman, it is the company he holds dear to his heart; with KyungChae, it is Seri as well as the company.
KyungChae and Chairman's relationship is so weirdly antagonistic. I won't be surprised if it turns out that she had something to do with the death of SooJung's mom... There are more secrets to come out...

Since it is SeungJae's stepmom, they may not be biologically or legally related. Otherwise, we are less likely to have this unneeded triangle.
