I like the fact that both Shawn and Vincent now firmly hold the story that Shawn did all this business war thing because of FF.
In ep1, first scene, before Vincent met FF for the first time, Vincent was dealing with a client stolen by Shawn.

Comparing to the supporting cast, the main leads actually have limited acting experience and received training specifically for the show, if what I have read on line is true, and Sing still have a lot to learn. It's luck that his character is supposed to be reckless and feels no remorse for committing crimes, but this is no "American psycho" acting either.

Shawn kind of has a point about HLT there, because he did throw an ashtray at FF and then compared him to an ashtray.

I even suspect Fei Foon's attempt to escape from the cinema is a decoy so that shawn wouldn't notice the lighter.

I noticed that too. They might have changed the lines last minute, but at least they could have levelled out the volume.

Where there's a market, money would find its way around regulations. I personally think it's a good thing, as within less than 2 years, the quality of the production has improved so significantly that "Ash", and "Spring Hill's dream" are approaching the level of Be On Cloud. I just hope that regulation doesn't catch up too soon, lol.

The CEO has been changed from a playboy to a devoted monogamist, the first encounter between the two leads was peppered with formal requests for consent. So Pedro, or Shaun, as that how he's been addressed so far in the series, would probably be a polite and sad, maybe slightly nero divergent boy who will not do anything to harm his love.
Also i just don't think Sing would have signed up for the role if it would be sexually violent like the novel.

Oh i felt that the 2 AI flashback scenes are a bit out of place in the episodes as well. But then because both of them involve kids, i made up my own theory that they used AI because they didn't want to involve minors in the making of this series or specifically these scenes. Then I am less "not okay" about it.

For some reason i suspect that Ms H knew it all along. She was just trying to see how it would play out between the 2. The harassment to her operation did stop after the shooting without major conflict, so i guess she got what she wanted.

I was thinking at that scene, that the girl played her poker face perfectly. Her "fiancée" could actually be the best person to help running the clan, because both her most important rival and her most powerful ally would literally die for him.
