The only problem was that it was too short.

Now these characters are actual bad boys. No, not those preppy, arrogant guys in soapy romance dramas that corner the girl to the wall. These guys are druggies, drinkers, and get into numerous amounts of fights and cause chaos. It is kind of rare to see this portrayed because it is always showed wrong. Surely, probably one of the best dramas I have watched in a while. I was hooked at the first episode.

I believe these people are new actors because I honestly could not find information about any of the students. But I wouldn't even have known they were rookies. They did a very good job giving the characters life. The female characters were well built and...strong. That's really the only word I can think of. They were very strong. They weren't shy or naive or going after the guy they liked. It is shown that they go through their own problems and you can see through their actions that it shapes the way they are. As for the guys, it was nice to see friendships develop and crash and develop again. They showed emotion where they needed to and had flaws and weak points. And also very nice to look at ahaha.

As for the plot, it is a bit confusing to figure at first, but eventually gets cleared up. Theres a lot going on at the same time and a lot of flashbacks. But it slowly gets stitched together.

The music is also great. There were a mix of genres, and it wasn't like a set OST. But I guess it depends on a persons taste. I liked it though.

Overall...wow. I binged it lol. I recommend. :)

I mainly watched this because of Taotao. But I honestly never expected this to be one of those movies where I just keep coming back to it and rewatching it. Because there is only a handful of them I can think of that have me do that. Its a very simple movie but it kept me on the edge of my seat as I was watching it. I fell in love with all the characters. They were very ordinary and they were executed gorgeously by all the cast members. I hope well for their future, especially the female lead. I want to see her in more, she did a wonderful job. Tao basically proved himself his worth as an actor in this film and I couldn't be more proud of him. He came a long way.

The music was just so pretty and it matched the setting nicely. The first time I heard the title track, 19, I basically fell in love ahaha. He has such a unique voice.

As for the plot, it was somewhat challenging for me to grasp for me at first. Although as the story unfolded, it just kept absorbing me in. I have to make a note to read the book as well because I loved this film. It was also very unexpected and had caught me by surprise on how everything was put into place. I don't want to completely ruin it, but if you are someone who likes thriller and romance, I recommend.

As for that ending, I didn't mind. You know, sometimes things do have to end in ways that fairy tales don't depict. Life isn't all about happily ever after. Have a box of tissues if you cry easily!
