I think you mean a Masochist which is a person who derives sexual gratification from their own pain or humiliation or (in general use) a person who enjoys an activity that appears to be painful or tedious.

This exactly, I was like why are they painting him to be a total dick if we are supposed to be rooting for them to be together. He isnt making a single right decision and I'm supposed to be on board with that what just because he has abs.........I think not.
