Why does this drama hurt so bad??? 😭 After bai jue's talk with gu jun, i've come to understand his pain and dilemma. Prob some or even most of the viewers were so focused on houchi's pain that we forget that bai jue's hurting too 💔 he doesnt want this to happen but for him there's no other choice but to continue his plan because shang gu's life matters more than what she thinks about him. He's willing to be the bad guy who'd get criticized just to protect her :((

I would've hated bai jue 2.0 if it werent for the spoilers that i saw ksksks ik this is all part of his plan to protect shang gu/houchi but i still get irritated whenever he's cold to her :(( nevertheless i admire bai jue for being strong and selfless again

From the moment qing mu was absorbed by the spirit of bai jue until now that bai jue has awakened, i've been bawling my eyes out 😭😭 i'm happy that bai jue came back and ik that qing mu and bai jue are one but it still hurts.. how much more when houchi will return knowing that her husband turned into someone she doesnt know/remember..

Ohhh omg okay thank u for clarifying! I really thought qing mu would vanish just like that and the old bai jue will return. I'm still on ep 36 and everything isnt clear yet but i agree with u that bai jue's love for shang gu is just as great as qing mu's love for houchi. I've seen many comments about the bai jue 2.0 in the latter eps so i know everything that he did is for a reason and that is to protect shang gu.

Qing mu's love for houchi is so deep that he can let her wake boxuan/bai jue up even tho he knows he'd disappear if that happens 😭 he even asked her if boxuan treated her well 😭 i know bai jue and qing mu are somewhat one n i love them both, i guess i'm so attached with qing mu's character that i dont want him to ever disappear tho i know that's impossible

I still dk whose chemistry i liked more hahaha but the chemistry here is better than what i expected it to be and just like you, i'm also a sucker for this type of dramas. I wish cheng xiao and xu kai will work again and have a xianxia project 💗

I'm on ep 33 now and qing mu just saw boxuan/bai jue sleeping in his memory. Qing mu's origin is still in question so far. Will it be revealed how qing mu came into being?

Hahaha we have the same situation. Right after i finished FIYS, I searched more works of xu kai and found this one 😂 at first i dont wanna watch this bc i dont find them suitable for each other and i dont like fl's looks in the poster but as soon as i watched ep 1 i was captivated already with the fl. But i immediately felt the chemistry between them and decided to forget for the meantime xu kai with cheng xiao hahaha i hope cheng xiao forgives me 😂😂

I started to love xu kai when i watched FIYS. And now i'm currently watching ALP and it's starting to grow on me. I want to explore more of xu kai since he's one of my fave actors now. Is this drama worth watching? It's really hard when the two most helpful reviews have a huge gap 😅

I'm currently on ep 26 and all i can say is 2nd male lead is not evil. Wu huan is a two faced btch and yes she is evil. In the 2nd arc FL will have a friend named fengran

I'm on ep 25 now and i cant reiterate enough how cute and adorable qing mu is!!! The way he dubbed houchi as his "wife" then there's jiangjian who ruined his bubble by saying "she's not your wife yet" hahaha just let poor qing mu daydream, jiangjian 😂

p.s qing mu is soooo whipped i'm not even complaining hahaha

I know bai jue and qing mu are both played by xu kai but damn i'm more attracted to qing mu even tho it's just been 2 eps since he showed up in the drama 😂

imo LAR really lives up to the high expectations people have for it. What I loved the most about it was the ML's love for the FL 😭 it was so painful but also moving to watch. Excited for you to watch that gem 💗
