Ireine Song might be 31 years old in real life, but i am not sure if she's the same age in the drama. My sense is that she might be younger , around 16 to 20. My understanding of the character is that she's someone playful, not feminine, nor career oriented. She writes books for fun, not a serious writer like JJ Rowling.

It seems like the actor has a new drama, and it appears to be a modern one. I'm not familiar with the actress; she has starred in many dramas that I have never heard of before.

This is the third drama featuring Ireine Song that I have watched. I believe she had more kissing scenes in this drama than in any of her other works. I could be mistaken, though, as I've only seen three of her dramas:
The Best of You in My MInd
The inextricable Destiny
Difference Princess.

I don't mind sad ending in ancient world and happy ending in modern world. However, I want a long view time in modern though, not just the last second meet up then end.

Someone posted early on this page. The scandal hurt his image, but he's not totally banned by the government.
Since this drama got aired, he might be able to come back slowly.

He has potential to be popular actor but because of his scandal, he didnt get cast after this drama. Hopefully, after this drama air, he gets casted again.

Ok, i saw the trailer. We can't make a judgment until the episode airs. Unless Qing was hypnosis and now follow the queen's order. If she really works for the queen, why would she confronted the CP of trying to poisoned the little boy.

The child might not be his. I feel like there is a story behind this child that we are not aware of yet. Remember, Chu said to Qing that if he were to have a child, it would be with Qing. He also mentioned that Qing was his first love. Chu thought Qing wanted to have children, so he attempted to sleep with her but failed. We're left with that cliffhanger.

After episodes 21 and 22, I feel like the empress is the mastermind. It seems like she didn't want Chu to replace her son's 'Crown Prince' title; therefore, she's trying to eliminate the rivalry for the crown prince position.

I don't mind the romance; in fact, I appreciate this slow-burn development. She hails from the modern world, making it unlikely for her to easily fall in love with anyone. Many contemporary women don't easily succumb to the charm of handsome men; they prefer getting to know someone personally before entering a romatic relationship. She isn't inclined towards lusting after handsome men. Moreover, her desire to return to her world prevents her from wanting to form any romantic attachments in this ancient setting. However, in the last couple of episodes, I can see that she is starting to develop feelings for Chu.

If I were in her shoes, safety would be my number one priority. I wouldn't want to entangle with anyone.

I think they got licensed. Last year, there was a promo of this drama; but it didn't air.
