I miss being obsessed with this one. This is truly my drama of the year. Really, I have no words for how perfect it was. All I want for myself is a man like Sifeng.

I love it. It's nothing serious and very fast-paced, but they have great chemistry. It's just so obvious that this is based on a manga, it follows all the shojo characteristics.

that's true. I was telling myself, he did it because he couldn't let her get obviously suspicious of her own husband because it could put her in danger, but at this point I know it's wishful thinking.

these type of dramas always have

I felt sorry for Derek for like a minute, until I remembered that he has a camera hidden in her office and tracks her phone and that there were to many occasional glimpses into a anger management issue, aswell as a missing moral compass. Him sincerely being in love with her is not enough at this point.
So I guess, I'll be rooting for JiHoon even if there really isn't much to him. Unless he finally quits his job, I wouldn't know how them getting back together would be any different to when they were still married.

not only do I feel like this is never going to be released, but also maybe that's the right way to go. because how old is this production already? the moment it airs it's going to feel very outdated

I pretty much binged this the last few days but now almost in the middle of ep 28 I gotta catch a break even if they can't. why do they have so many enemies?

My biggest issue was the romance. It started very well, I loved their fresh and quirky dynamic, and I liked how natural their feelings developed. However, they kept foreshadowing their breakup from early on, leaving us with anxiety for what's to come, only to keep us waiting for the calmest and most anti-climatic break up in the second to last ep, not even setting a foot into how Hae Hyo's whole unrequited love plot was hinting at major relationship problem. What started refreshing, thus became stale real quick.
The open ending leaves a lot to interpret, but they really left me with no desire to care for their relationship anymore.

I think the writer had a really good sense of what they wanted this drama to be, but they only really had a strong image of the beginning, that's why it started so great, whereas the middle and ending felt stale and repetitive.
It's not a bad drama, but for what it seemed to promise it was disappointing.
If you don't go in with too much expectation I think you'll like it.
Surely, the best part of this is the family relations, I really enjoyed their overall development - of and between the characters.

I desperately need them to take a break from all those malicious and selfish people or else it's gonna be me who's taking a break.

I'm ready for Miles to not play an annoying second lead

I didn't have time tp watch the last two eps that have aired, but I remember reading a comment were someone said that she is just completely into our ML.
she does stand up the 2ML at least two times to spend time with the ML, so I don't think her feelings will go beyond friendship.
I hope so, because I really dislike him.

this drama is good because it gives you exactly what this type of easy rom-com promises to deliver. nothing more nothing less. I really mean that as a compliment.
It's a fluffy, romantic and also cliché drama, with a lot of cute expectedly unexpectedly moments, a little sport and ambition, side characters and a lot of tropes, but you should've really expected that when you decided to watch this.

It may have not been an issue for you when you were younger but that still doesn't mean it's not an issue for some men.
also, with how corrupt the entertainment world is in general, it is to be expected that actors and actresses often don't have another choice but to comply with the wishes of certain projects. in the case for men objectification is mostly downplayed because we threat restrainment as a female attribute, it also helps to hold up on male stereotypes that dismisses any other body form as desirable.
though it's seemingly an issue that mainly concerns women, sexism is also a problem for men.
that said, I'm sure a lot of actors really didn't mind their shirtless scenes and may have even liked to show off their hard trained body, it's just that we cannot be completely sure if this is and was the case for everybody, so developing a little sensibility for it surely is not a bad thing.
