At first when I was watching while it was airing, I didn’t like the storyline at all but after seeing how it was executed, some online opinions and my countless rewatches, i’ve really come to love the HK arc so much! It not only served some delicious angst with the separation, it also let Sang Yan figure out and walk through her past on his own which I freaking LOOOVE! The yearning during their reunion was top notch.

What episode does it start to get good
For me it's good from the first episode but i'd say for someone who hasn't read the novel and is going in completely blind i'd say episode 8.
