and is it a desicion? a smart one decision? it’s a so childish and weak behavior
Mind you victims of trauma can be childish. Its called age regression and people who experience that involuntarily can act out and make decisions that don't make sense but it makes sense for them in their heads.
Her choices can be understood in a way, she’s suffered so much and has so much trauma to deal with. Having said…
People also don't understand that she's been made to feel guilty about everything her entire life. She doesn't believe she deserves good things cause she's always been told she doesn't. She's used to living in slummy apartments and working for a living cause that's what shes been used to her entire life.
Then don't watch it, u have free will to drop it or not
Honestly all this complaining just for them to come back at the end of the drama and be happy about their happy ending and figure out all their panic and anger was for naught lol.
the novel is good, I liked it but yeah this part of how Sang Yan handled this part of the story in the novel left…
Exactlyyyy! in the drama he’s way more understanding of her pain and her trauma and he’s not making it about himself. He’s uplifting her and trying to understand her rather than throw in her face his feelings.
After reading some opinions and thoughts on twitter I feel even better about this change now. It does make a bit more sense for the drama cause in the novel he gets mad and leaves her alone in Nanwu which could come off so OOC in the drama and honestly a bit questionable cause his approach to addressing the situation in the novel was not the best either despite how you may feel about the novel.
Yes, I’m cheering very loudly for the beating up part.
He also lets it slip about what he did to her to Sang Yan during the fight sayinf “we’re all men you get it, I almost touched your girl, want me to tell you how it felt?” JUST A NASTY MAN.
Detailed episode 25 spoilers for anyone who wants them then i’m leaving cause i’m not gonna watch yall tear down Wen Yifan like that without even trying to understand her lol. Call it what it is: bad writing but don’t sit and tear others down for enjoying the plotline or understanding her. Not everyone watching is a novel reader. In these episodes Sang Yan clearly understands something drove her away and he doesn’t blame her. He’s trying to figure out what it is. Episode 25: Si Qiao and Sang Yan talk and she tells him Wen Yifan contacted her. Both of them trying to figure out what she may have went through to cause this. Theres a flashback to her living in her aunts house and meeting Evil Uncle Che. We then see her creepy uncle watching over her working and asking her to do things for him like a creep and him getting all up in her personal space. She calls her mom and begs her to take her back but she doesn’t. Then they show evil uncle entering her room and he tries to assault her *TRIGGER WARNING* this happens around 23 minutes in. He tries to grab her and take the box cutter from her hands, shes screaming as he tries to attack her. They fall from the apartment window when shes trying to escape from his grasp. This is where the “she tried to kill me” came from. She hurt her foot from the fall. They then show the aftermath and her family is useless of course and the police woman helps her limp away. We go back to present day and Wen Yifan is obviously upset, caressing her bracelet and Xiang Lang sees her in the crowd trying to get her attention but she walks away before he gets too close. Then its an angsty compilation of her and SY looking sad and paralleling eachother (cause soulmates) Sang Yan sends her a voice message asking her to send him another letter and scrolls through all his unanswered texts that say he misses her and telling her to eat. Then Sang Yan beats the shit out of evil uncle (WE CHEER) in the post credit scene Sang Yan is watching a movie alone and we get a flashback of him watching a movie with Yifan in High School. This episode focused mainly on her past, so you get a understanding of everything shes been through. Pretty important episode if you ask me!
I have a twitter account and I have always considered twitter as the most toxic social media place to be but yes,…
Thats why i love twitter. People are a lot more understanding and big brained with their analysis’ over there. Instead of jumping to hate right away they take time to really think about it and give their thoughts.
