That helicopter for going to hunt scene reminded me of succession. I was expecting the succession music to start playing. It would've been epic if they did so
Is it bad that I'm looking forward to how they will overcome the divorce papers? A part of me wants to see it…
Lol... I know it will be sad but after today's episode I actually want Hyun Woo to suffer a bit. I am looking forward to see him cry, pine for her and do all the begging... also crying hyun woo is really cute... so win win
Whaaat! I was sympathetic towards Hyun Woo and how miserable he seemed in ep 1 but today I am all team Hae In. I think I will be team Hae In till ep 16. Her character had won me totally over in this ep. I wanted to smack on Hyun Woo's head in the first half of the episode and side eyed him towards the later but then when he stepped in and that cliffhanger, I was a little bit forgiving towards him. The epilogue made me believe that he truly did love her, just that lost his way during their marriage and forgot why he wanted to get married in the first place.
When shit hits the fan and when his wife will come to know about the divorce papers (duh), I truly feel bad for him since now only bcoz it will truly be late and I can't wait for all the angst and the begging that will follow. Totally my cup of tea!
I think she knows he is fed up and wants a divorce. She is not that naive and dumb enough not to guess what he…
We haven't shown the reason for them being apart... only we see the intial meeting, falling in love, getting married and then jumps into the present where they are miles apart in their marriage... maybe we will get to see in the upcoming eps
Is she lying about health or not 😅😅😅, trust issues
I think she knows he is fed up and wants a divorce. She is not that naive and dumb enough not to guess what he wants to say and maybe came up with "I am dying" excuse to not let him go without letting her pride go and beg him to stay in. So far we know we have seen she do love him and still feelings for him and got his back, behind his back... lol but I think her stubborn pride is one main issue... Have to wait it out and see what happened.
OMG! 5 mins in and I knew I would love this drama. By the end of the ep I was head over heels. The chemistry is oozing off the screen. KSH is CUTE as always and KJW is chic and giving me her rachel vibe and am just eating it all up. The chaebol family dynamic is so funny that I know in the future it is going to giving us a lot of hilarious moments.
I am strapped and hooked in and I can't wait for the rest of the journey!!!! This drama is going places.
I always simply come to his page and check it out thinking there will another work added, as if he isn't gone, still here. Still can't believe it. One of my fav j actor, with the most beautiful smile ever.
Nah imo it's kind of rushed. I assume he either has some ulterior motive (why was he in that tiny town to begin…
Ya definitely rushed. I wish they gave atleast a hint to what Tae Oh gains or if he is seeking some sort of revenge. Kinda make it hard for me to get invested into his story
I am just 2 episodes in, but I am confused about what does Tae Oh gets out of helping InHa with his plans to aquire the company? Isn't TO a genius with 1% of the population? So he can become anything he wants to be. So what does he get from helping out In Ha. It doesn't look like they are bff's and or out of loyalty seeing how their friendship developed and Tae Oh saying I will use you to In Ha. Did I miss any backstory or something?
My love for Reply 1997 knows no bounds. I don't think any drama will ever top for me than this. I watched the pilot episode while it aired and when it was fairly unknown but I knew this drama was going places as it did. I liked '94 initially but then my chilbongie got played and I remember rioting and ranting over it on all those drama forums and sns back in those days. I still find myself fuming over it from time to time. Haha, I will be forever mad for that treacherous act. '88 was ok for me. I know, majority of the people I have come across loves it the most out of the trio. Idk but I never got around to loving it. I always say this when I recommend this franchise to anyone, that to appreciate '94 and '88, you initially need to get to know the magic and enchantment known as Reply 97.
P.S. This was a nice read and a reminder for a rewatch.
You saying this " hated the ending. I hated how past Tae Ha just died not knowing why his wife suddenly was with…
Agree to disagree. I have every right to like or dislike a drama. I simply didn't write a review after watching a few episodes. I have invested my time and completed it and I get to say if I loved it or not and why! The same way that you get to say why you love it and I am not out here asking people who loved the ending why they even love it in the first place, because I believe it is their right if they do.
So what if I sound salty about a drama I initially liked? Can't I be? And if my review happens to be on top of the page, I can't do anything about it. And I have never discouraged anyone not to watch it, infact said about how much great the first 6 episodes are. And isn't this a discussion forum were fans get to talk about the dramas and have different opinions? Next time, just move on, if you don't agree with someone, or maybe have a polite discussion without calling someone mad or salty.
