The story was full of clichés and workout tropes but the fantasy spin gave it all a new life somehow. The in-comic story was like watching a mashup of every asian school romance out there but the lamp shading made it quite charming and it felt nice watching it unfold while trying to guess the next trope it’ll use. Plus the actors were great and their chemistry was worth enduring all the mushy lines.
Overall, it’s an extremely enjoyable show, especially for someone who likes the genre and wants a fun, easy show to cheer them up!
