After many rewatches of the pilot, here's what I can formulate: Arpo (Junior) got hired by Linin's mom to be her husband/groom-for-hire because Linin got pregnant and the mother doesn't know who the father of her baby is (possibly the stepdad coz him and Linin have an affair). When Arpo discovered the affair on their wedding day, stepdad st4bb3d him to death and hurt his gentials the most. Which is why he said that weddings is a nightmare for him because of the arranged marriage (he prob accepted the offer coz he needs the money for his mother) and his near death. When he survived, he transformed into a woman (Namtan) and plans her revenge on the family who hurt her. She became the stepdad's secretary and for her to do the job, she is helped by Porpan (Film), Linin's young sis. Arpo thinks to somehow use Porpan as her family look like they have a soft spot for her being the youngest daughter. Porpan obv likes Arpo but Arpo doesn't because she's focused on hurting back the family, or so she thought, because Porpan is different from them all where Porpan is genuinely nice to Arpo, which is why Arpo is having confused feelings for her since she doesn't know if she likes her as who she was (the man) or who she is now (the woman). Porpan seems to slowly know who Arpo truly is but didn't stop her from loving her, which is why she's asking if Arpo can stop her revenge plan for her. As seen in the trailer, she p0ison3d the stepdad, make his wife discover the affair, and possibly jail time for him? Which leads us to Linin (Aye) possibly investigating Arpo and discovered she is the same person who was she supposed to get married to (since Arpo didn't change her first name after her transition), and have the gun scene at the end with Pan possibly stopping it.
With this, I feel like male Arpo wasn't straight (prob into MLM) before since he obviously doesn't love Linin and his reaction to the affair was more of he is afraid to die rather than being hurt by discovering the affair because he loves Linin, because why was his first thought is on not telling other people about the affair? And why he didn't fight back if he actually can (tho understandable coz stepdad is super scary). Another hint that he might not be into women is the way woman Arpo doesn't know how to handle a woman, which is why Pan said that she will teach her how girls like to be hold/touch. Some fans even think that Arpo may have already started his transition prior to the incident because out of all the body parts, why would the stepdad stab him on his genitals? Also I think Porpan isn't as naive as we thought. Remember Metavee/May in Pluto? exactly. (Take these lightly because I could be wrong)
This series can make or break NamtanFilm, especially this will be an original screenplay. If Snap25 team executes this right by gathering the concerns from the fans about the trans rep and having a more detailed research, they have a hit on their hands esp. most Thai people have good feedbacks about it and a similar plot was done before in 2019 titled The Fallen Leaf. But if Snap25 messes this up, this can affect NF's rep badly especially they're both really good actresses. This series will def be more layered and complex than Pluto and considering that it will be done by the same team, I have high hopes of it being executed well. I feel like the trailer being edited that way is a strategy too (Pluto's pilot trailer didn't give away much too and felt somewhat plain but the final trailer was beautiful), but I also wished it was executed better to avoid misunderstandings. While I'm worried for NF for the fate of this series, I know they will nail the roles they have here and give us another acting masterclass. They took the risk of accepting this complex drama to challenge themselves considering some fans want them to lay back for their 2nd series like by doing romcom because Pluto was already heavy enough. Snap25 still has a lot of time to do modifications and I'm willing to wait for this series. I'm wishing for the best.
I hope they change it and make junior's character always feel like a woman
I feel like he wasn't straight since he was only hired as a groom for Linin (Aye's character) for money. His reaction on the affair was more of being afraid to the consequences from the stepdad than being hurt because he loves Linin. I hope it is the route they're going for.

Does anyone know if it is based on the novel or a standalone storyline? Also, by judging how this transwoman role…
It is an original storyline. The makers said there's more depth on the series and I feel like he wasn't straight prior to transition (hint being Porpan teaching Arpo how girls liked to be touched and Arpo being hesitant on holding her). Let's hope for the best because this series will be handled by the same team who made Pluto.
