Maybe, but I still don't see him as a good character because of how he constantly turns a blind eye towards his father's evil deeds. So for now, I don't think he is completely innocent. Interesting view but I don't think Ji Yong remembers his past life, there hasn't been any hint of it but rather it seems he is a very wise character who can foretell future/past events instead. Previously, I only understood his motive of wanting to overthrow the current king, now that you mentioned this him supporting and being mentor for Prince Qing who is expected to cause rebellion seems suspicious.
