am a bit confused about one thing, so Ji Yong is Shou Gu's cousin from the cui family side? or is he just a childhood best friend? there was a scene that her friends and cousin lowkey shipped her with Ji Yong and in previous life he was just a monk??? so it confuses me are they really cousins or not? (but I know in history people often marry their own cousins, idk if its applicable in the chinese era the storyline followed )

Good point. To add, in usual cdramas it is only the main leads who are given more focus when it comes to crying scenes but here all the characters were given such scenes.
