if you read the novel, the writer always describes XL at ease close to the ocean/the sea , she feels at home...

the character development of XY shows that she tries to be celebral in her love life, she forces XL out of her dreams because he would be a less 'safe choice'; she wants someone simple, who can always be with her... at least with words.. she wants to hear that chosen partner to tell her that she comes first. she is so determined to use her brain rather than her heart, to neglet her feelings for more dangerous (from her perspective) choices.. XL is a silent love interest, and we see XL running away from the same choice her mother made (she was passionately in love with her lover).. i think i read somewhere from an interview made to the writer, that XL is not a typical female lead, as she choses reason instead of her heart.

thank you for this spoiler. i am past the first half of the book and i know the end for XL is heartbreaking.. and to re inforce your comment regarding the book title: yes this drama is about what is lost, and amongst other things she has lost XL... 🥺😭

no dramas, it is a straightforward fluffy romance, with no triangle, no misunderstandingn no complicated plot. it shows how they fall in love and the first moments of their relationship, from sweet to hot 🔥 so it is fluffy and positive.. in real life, usually problems might come later in a relationship, but the first months are all lovely. and this drama is about that first "honey-moon" type of vibe 🥰😍😍
this is what you should be ready to watch, but totally understandable that it is not a type of drama that everybody likes
