You're welcome! And the cast did get a lot of critcism back then for starring in this drama (it's just that many fans still defended them/the whole situation). Jisoo unfortunately got the brunt of it since she's the most well-known cast member here.

man the way this show was treated didnt fucking deserve , all because a kpop idol is there didnt sit right with…
No, it wasn't solely cuz of Jisoo. Majority of the criticism was directed at the writers for distorting South Korean history. For example, the drama portrayed the Agency for National Security Planning (represented by the characters Kang Moo and Han Na) as likeable people who simply wanted to get rid of North Korean spies, when in reality, that agency tortured innocent lives *under the excuse* of ridding North Korean spies. Also, there are some names in the drama that sound similar to real-life people who were involved in those incidents.

get well soon, lusi <3

i wish that she could stop doing dramas and any other public activities for at least six months to focus on herself and her health. it's really tough being a celebrity in an industry with such extreme standards and spiteful netizens.. 😓

No doubt, TJC can act. That 3-minute performance in Under the Skin 2 is breathtaking—it gives goosebumps. Yu…
Well a lot of people thought TJC wouldn't do Xiang Liu from Lost You Forever justice either cuz of his "height" and "looks" but here we are... his character is still very popular today, even though S1 ended in August 2023 and S2 ended in July 2024 ;)

But you are entitled to your own opinion after all, and just like you, I also trust/hope that the casting staff will choose the best suited people for this drama

should I watch this? it has more than one ml and im scared ill get sml syndrome and get mad 😭 i dont like red…
will you get SML syndrome? that depends on which ML becomes your favorite. is the ML here similar to immortal samsara's ML? because there are four MLs, it's hard to answer this question.

Lost You Forever isn't like typical romance stories where the ML is FL's only love interest and who she will ultimately end up with. instead, the story explores the different relationship that FL has with the 4 MLs.

the FL here has severe abandonment issues stemming from childhood. as a result, she wants someone who'll never abandon her and will always put her first no matter what. so you kinda have to view the MLs as people who the FL *could* end up with depending on how their relationship evolves and if they meet her requirements, rather than as just one ML who she *will* end up with.

finished the first ep and it's very promising! my only criticism is the acting from young song mo; it's quite lacking compared to young dou zhao's actress who's doing well so far. ofc that's a minor issue and they're kids after all, but i just had to bring it up cuz there was so much wonderful tension that kept me hooked until young song mo appeared 🥲

i am kinda confused about the two lifetimes aspect though. which is their first life and which is their second? is the first lifetime what we saw before they died and the second lifetime when they went back to the past, or are we going to be introduced to another life later?

He is red flag, at least in the beginning since I've only read til ch 9 so far. He's a red flag bc of his misogynistic…
True. Problematic people are sometimes forgiven too easily by the victims, even when they haven't done anything to redeem themselves!
For the drama, they can retain Li Yifei's arrogance but hopefully they at least tone down his rude behavior and anger issues. I can handle a bit of bickering but not straight up disrespect.

He is red flag, at least in the beginning since I've only read til ch 9 so far. He's a red flag bc of his misogynistic…
I understand how you feel, the number of times those happened in dramas is really disappointing! I hate how cheating (and sometimes even death as you mentioned) is treated as the ultimate measure of whether someone's a good or bad person, when there are other aspects that should also be taken seriously like abuse and toxicity. It really irks me seeing people say "but they cheated!" as if the other person wasn't verbally and physically abusive.

I think the Love Has Fireworks novelist did this when they had Qian Fei briefly feel guilty for slapping Li Yifei cuz he just got cheated on. Forget what I said about how two wrongs don't make a right lmao that slap was rightfully deserved! No need to feel sorry, Qian Fei. He kept being immature, making messes in HER house, and (same with Gui Lili) dragging her, their LANDLORD, into their relationship. The fact that Qian Fei hasn't even kicked those two kids out yet is really astonishing.

[from ch 16]

Li Yifei gave a cold laugh, stepped back, and cleared the doorway, “Didn’t she tell you to pack up her things? Then you come and pack for her!”
Qian Fei was stunned. How could these two be so unreasonable? She couldn’t bear it anymore: “What’s wrong with you two? Whether you want to break up or live or die, can you leave me out of it? I’m just an ordinary landlord among thousands, not a community mediator!"
...
Li Yifei had thrown all of Gui Lili’s belongings into the living room, creating a huge mess.
...
"Alright, stop throwing things! I’ll go in and pack them up myself, okay? Please have some consideration for my apartment!”
...
Li Yifei had just been dramatically cheated on and broken up with by his girlfriend, and then she had slapped him and said such harsh words. He must be feeling hurt right now. Feeling sympathetic, Qian Fei mumbled softly to him, "I’m sorry…"

Yes I'm appalled at his behavior 😭 Before reading, I knew that Li Yifei was cocky but I didn't know that he was also incredibly misognystic! His character development better be PHENOMENAL. I'm expecting a whole new attitude cuz the one he has right now is not it.

I've read til ch 16 already and *spoiler* it's been revealed that his gf Gui Lili really was cheating on him with her boss (gold digger fr) but that doesn't excuse LYF's behavior. Two wrongs don't make a right.

Fingers crossed that the drama puts LYF in a brighter light, otherwise even my beloved actor Tan Jianci wouldn't be able to save it...
