to be honest, i'm not surprised. there were a lot of fanwars from both sides. 😓 but don't worry! i have faith the production and actors/actresses will show us that it's a drama worthy of getting good stats, even if it ends up not getting it. quality is better than quantity.

the original actor for wang ruo hai (zhang hao wei) was involved in some controversies so they used AI and green screen to replace his character with a different actor (li xin ze). this is also the reason why this drama was shelved for so long

i do agree, it's upsetting how he wasn't cleared until he'd already been replaced.
aesun and gwangsik treated their children so unfairly that it was hard for me to truly enjoy this drama and appreciate the family aspect of it.
