I must say so far the SML is damn cute and hot.... unlike other dramas. Eventhough he likes her, he is only trying to make her happy whoever she likes..... Hope he remains like that....

Here I go... supporting the ML as well as the SML.....!!!

Just finished ep 13, and thought I must say, such a beautiful and fragile story.. you walk on eggshells not to break this man who buried his feeling inside after going through such mental anguish at a tender age of 10. Then this young girl whose eyes and the noodles she was hogging dropped down, when she set her eyes on him first time at the steps. She was so head over heals fallen for him... and he is kind and likes to bring home everything he likes be it a pet snake, spider or cats... and when he heard Gu Yi has trouble at her rental he brought her home.
buying an Indigo bowl for her food was just the beginning. That's how it begins.

I liked how he started some feelings and he described to the doctor as someone else is feeding my cat.

I don't care much about the fan following or ratings... i like to see good story, good acting... as long as you express emotions genuinely... you are doing justice to your profession..!
Here I also like the blue filters used in the nights scenes... gives it a more modern or winter look...

I feel things will change from next episode.. onwards... looking forward to it.

I think Gu Yi is pretty aware of his condition, she is just happy to crush over him.. and XinXin already warned her not to get her hopes too high. But of course she is hopeful...!

yessss! I am thoroughly enjoying it.... so good!. I am only on ep 4 and my cheeks are hurting from constantly smiling at Gu Yi and her crush on Dai Wen... from jumping up and down saying we are living together... to whiskey stone...hehehhe... so funny

aw! sweet..! I always liked her after seeing her in ALSB, and try to watch her dramas. . The thing about her.. BTS of her dramas makes you wonder how they will edit it all together.. most of the time she cant help laughing... !
But the dramafans are pretty unkind to her... esp the during the making of Smilecode and Lin Yi stood up to defend...her.. may be all that makes me want her to succeed in this...!

When she was jumping up and down saying we are living together... reminds me of Rhino Hamster in Bolt... rofl...!

My goodness she is like a little koala bear on Lin Yi's back....rofl! She is adorable....!!
I like her, i feel the only actress with such simplicity ..

I was looking forward to this, I like the simplicity and spontaneous acting of Shen Yue and the added bonus of Lin Yi... I dont care about the MDL rating.. as long as the story is good I will give it a go....

That look on her face when Lin Yi walked in... so natural, anybody could easily miss a step at that sight.....lol!!!

Actually I left FoF... bcoz you cannot watch bits and pieces of FoF, dramas like these we have to continue watching bcoz there are so many characters being introduced in each new episode we loose track.. I really liked the few episodes of Fof I watched.

Dashing Youth is good. Such a big cast and so far its pretty funny.. but I know things get pretty aggressive towards the end... I am on Ep 17 now.. I wanted to watch it earlier for He Yu, after I saw "Legend of Sheli" . He did good acting in that and here also, very complex character role and he is doing a good job..

There is hardly any romance if you want that in drama, Also this is more lighter... ! Neo Hou is like a teenager here.. where as FoF he is more sinister and mature....lol!!

BTW I havent watched The Blood Of Youth, which everyone compares this with... which has a stellar rating too..

I started Fangs of Fortune and thought of checking this out.. and i already reached ep 12... ! Its good.. so i dont have to wait for episode releases of FoF...
In Fangs of fortune.. Neo Hou is amazing.. here you can say him and his team is young.. there its more mature team...and more dark...

Was wondering which drama to start.... is this good??

I am rewatching in between other dramas... and I must say... the Director, the story, the main leads and all the characters, the music and the BIRD ... all are sooo good, and acted so well. There isnt a single episode... that didnt put a smile on my face at sometime or other ... jeez the fisher folks disguise of Xing Zhi and Furong... For all the teasing Xing Zhi did on Shenli... she is giving back.. when they came back to Mortal realm....
Xing Zhi looking at the mermaid and asking can I stew this..... Jeez. it seriously cracks me up...!!
and that phoenix creation was amazing.. it acted just like Shenli.. holding her head high and swinging the stick like a spear..... such and awesome drama...!

Now that it all ended, there is no point i feel dissecting and feeling bad or wishing a different direction, I couldnt understand why they needed that Xiyan side, siblings, crazy stupid father... all those got nothing to do with the main drama......
I am alright with the ending... both knew what its going to be and accepted. But I felt bad for QinYan.. after the fights with the CP his hair style changed and the red cloak.. made him look more dashing and important figure.. when he told his wish to stay with Jinghe, I knew he is gone..! and usually they kill of the second best... Also Wei, the chubby guy, was such a happy figure.. why did they kill him off...

Exactly... what was the purpose of Xiyan siblings in the story.... and why he paralyzing / removing martial arts of an Assassin...? the whole story is lost there....!!
