Hostage princess and princes, we have seen in many dramas, sadly none of them ended up happily. Wannings case was very bad... I wonder who send her there... is it the current Emperor, does he know the harm it did to her. Now I cannot blame her for being demented...!! after being used and abused and thrown like a trash... nothing good comes out.

I think that pregnancy... prank, was a bit inhuman to a person who lost babies till she cannot become pregnant anymore....., hope, Jiang Li didn't know what Wanning went through to become such an evil person....!!

Character "Shen YuRong" is an enigma, I have seen him swearing to take down all corrupt people at his father's deathbed. What action of the Princess terrorized him to kill Jiang Li, who he really loved and they were so happy together. But he lost his peace, his love, his dignity by that... become such a groveling slave...!
I think till Ep 32 he was trying to protect Jiang Li, he hates the Princess. But now he is changing, I dont think he can take Jiang Li being taken by Duke Su....

Liang YongQi, the actor did an outstanding job... I am seeing him for the first time..in this drama... the character Yurong, Wonder what he is going to do .....next!

Jeeez! I dont believe this, I really enjoyed this drama...and came here to rewatch few episodes... read the comments... and see everyone saying not good... and you are cheering for it....... we do think alike... !!! well here is my take on it... I enjoyed it... esp both the main lead and SML...

Story of a daughter, whose father did everything (bad and good) just so she will live happily. Good things are the education, good traits.. encouragement.. and all the money... BAd thing is for being there for her since her mom died... he made someone else take the responsibility when things fell apart... without feeling any pangs....

Now Jiang Hu is a smart girl once she set her mind she go all out to achieve results... She did it not for money but to make her fathers company running after he died...

why did things fell apart between Xu Si... b'coz she trusted only him with her whole heart after her father died... and He loved her with his whole heart.. now he was never 100% sure about her.. bcoz anything go bad she will beak loose and go... this fear made him not to tell her in time... Best scene was his mothers conversation with him asking are you waiting for the right opportunity to tell her... ?? in ep 31. She gives some good advice..

Lousiest character in the drama for me.. was the SFL, where as YangJian was such strong friend... such a reliable person, but madly in love... I never liked that aunt, her father's assistant... I felt she never said anything productive in her conversations...

Uncle was a factory worker.. with diff thinking... so I do forgive him....! Miles Wei.. character was not good... Very mean, bcoz whatever he did the person who paid the price was Jiang Hu....!!!

Seriously!!!! Only thing which i was not happy was the ending... not enough for all the anxi and agony they had all the time they were separated...

Or It can be, he thinks he is the emperor and Duke Su must do what he says....! BTW I was wondering where I have seen him before.. then checked his profile and realised.. he was Prince DanYang in "Journey to Love"

Today when he said...better not get emotionally involved... I was kinda... wondering.. how he is going get out of this fix... but then its Duke Su.. he can get out of any slick situation....lol!!

Isnt it... its princess, stepmother's sister and father, Li Lui brothers and father... all are a bit dormant now... all going to turn up.... esp if Zhao's sister is killed its going to be war... and Duke Su will be away and Jiang Li will be without protection...

Princess Wei Young and Jun Jiu Ling... both had their FL being hunted for power struggle... Jiang Li is an ordinary wife... of a scholar.. who was also a nobody, after killing the FL only he started going to Palace...... IMO I cannot see any similarity other than a crime being committed...!

Actually I am quite enjoying the Double...! If they were to release all the episodes at one go, I would have been binge watching this. Even though its a Jiang Li's revenge drama... It covers a lot of stuff.. to hold everyone's interest..! And no dragging at all... not waiting till the last minute. but close one by one the plans...by each episode..

While waiting for the episodes of The double, I thought of checking this one out.. since I heard its a hilarious drama...! and I realised how versatile is Wang Xing Yue, to act like a spoiled brat of a crown prince... Duke Su in Double... total opposite... Another thing is his voice matured a lot now.. than in this drama....
The scene on ep 2 when prince Jin visits his mother after being apart for many years... had me falling off my chair laughing....

Both the Main Leads have deep love for each other by now, it started with being reliable, supporting helping, but Revenge is the theme, so they cannot be making any wrong move till they achieve their goal... Very intense drama....it keeps you glued to you seat...!
