And YSS who was sent back to save him... does more harm than any one else... also why is her character is created as so thick that everyone can fool her... not one time.. repeatedly. So many misunderstandings not cleared... Minge Ye doesn't know why Sung jie stop cultivating with him, according to him she found a replacement. Now why she is going out of her way to let Xio Lan escape.. she should know TTJ wont kill him. There is only one bloody project she got to do it well.. that is make him a human, but even that she couldn't do till now.. I am totally confused... but love to see TTJ... I would really want him to turn evil and slay the lot... haaaa lol! but he was amazing... the entrance at episode 1 was OOTW!!!
The three siblings and their partners... were really great.... On re-watching, I wish Chen Ruo Xuan part should have been like a responsible big brother, I have seen him in Novoland series with Liu Haron, very good acting... but here his part was like an irresponsible brat .. but the fight in Episode 40 him and a'fei did to help Yin Pei.. was really great!

Thank you... I have already finished, once I passed the poisoning part and Pingzhang standing in ... there was no stopping me. My God, what an amazing role Huang Xioming did. If NIF 1 was more on revenge and planning plotting this is all about throbbing beating heart involving a father and his two sons and their other halves... just loved it. Very difficult to handle emotions.. here its galore!

I I came to watch this bcoz of Bai Yu, like his acting so much, then I realised the little cousin is in "Somewhere Only we know" and "dont leave after school"
Every time I start this, I have to put it onhold., bcoz its so intense... in an emotional way. I just love this family... the father and his children... So realistic. Now again I picked it up.. I Please can someone tell me, does this have a satisfying end...? are all these scheming people get what they deserve...

Actually 73 episodes. It really needs that much to unfolds the whole story from their childhood to adulthood. All actors are powerhouse in acting, you cannot say single one didn’t do their part to the fullest. I think the child actors really needs to be appreciated equally. The main leads romance starts in episode 40 but the couple had various interesting interactions from beginning and chemistry that made the slow developing romance worth it and they are a baddass couple. ML is a very bold, direct and straightforward man very sure of his feelings for the female lead once he set his heart to get her. FL is on the other hand very calm, very clever, never loosing her cool or misbehaving, (which drives the ML crazy lol!). This is a strong drama, very slice of life, during song dynasty era
I just started to have a look at it, now I cannot stop it.. So good! Both Leo and Bailu are great...! the costumes makeup, lighting... too good... Only thing I didnt like is the projected eye.. reminds me of Sauron's eye in LOTR
I started to watch this bcoz of the FL i was doing a re run of "Story of Minglan" and thought this eldest girl looks pretty and very decent acting... so checked out if there is anything else she acted... and lo...here is a new release I thought of giving a go..
But the comments here.... like lousy acting...and I want the FL to die.... terrible script ... lol!!! jeez, let me put it down immediately where i paused to read comments... and escape..!
