I really enjoyed the series, I really wish we could get a second season and more insights and updates in the "other Ogami's" and "other Kano's" relationship 🤞🏻

Well, in the last scene at the temple, Kano said to the "other Ogami", "I am not the one you like", implying that the one the "other Ogami" truly loves, is the "other Kano". Which makes sense, considering he was already head over heels when our Kano transported into the other world.

And considering how the "other Ogami" said that they spend time together, that he goes to "other Kano's" house all the time, that they are open with each other and that they laugh, have fun and generally enjoy being just the two of them, is safe to say the "other Kano" loves him too.

I would have love to get a glimpse at the end, from them being together too 🫣

I don't think the "other Ogami" is a red flag, or that he uses the "other Kano" to boost his sales, I just think he is a different person who loves and supports someone also different from the "real Kano", someone with different personality, desires and needs, who likes to be spoiled and taken care of, and it's not as proud. So the treatment and the result are also different.

If I remember correctly, he credits the "other Kano" to all the sales ("real Kano" notices that the "other Ogami" writes both their names in the contracts and remember Kano doesn't get points from sales in either universe, so they are not competing against each other), he always said to the "real Kano" that they are a team, that he is important and that he is doing a great job, and generally he shows his appreciation and acknowledges Kano's hard work. If he didn't want Kano to improve, he wouldn't take him with him at appointments, credit him and compliment him.

As for the monopolising comment, I think it comes from "other Ogami's" possessiveness and jealousy, rather than ulterior motives about business. We got to see the "other Ogami" getting jealous even when the "real Kano" was talking with someone from a different company, so…

Overall, the "other Ogami" and the "other Kano" are just a different couple, with different dynamic an balance, and considering how they were already flirting with each other when the "real Kano" transported to their world (they were already hanging out just the two of them, opening to each other and having fun together) it's safe to say that what they have is working for them, but it wouldn't work for the "real Kano" and the "real Ogami" 😊

So according to the novel, if I am not mistaken, both couples are real.

Fang Chi and Gao Zhun are a real couple whose love story inspired a book by their friends. The book then turned into a movie, where Zhen Xin and Zhang Zhun played the main roles.

During filming, they themselves fell in love and became a couple. The meta part is, that Zhen Xin's and Zhang Zhun's love story turned into a book as well, the one Fang Chi and Gao Zhun are reading in the final scene.

What it's not very clear in the series, is who wrote Zhen Xin's and Zhang Zhun's book, cause in the last scene it looks like Gao Zhun wrote it. That's not in the novel I think 🤔 But as far as I know, in the novel, both couples get to meet each other at the end, which is quiet lovely 🥰

You can see that people in that age appreciate it a lot 😊
It has occasionally the typical, random, Thai BL goofiness, but overall it addresses realistic, everyday topics and relationships.
And of course TayNew are always a pleasure to watch! You can tell they are together for over a decade ☺️

It's not a love triangle of that's what you worried about.
It's purely a pro forma marriage, and the sister/bride hates the ML 🤷🏻‍♀️
