Yeah, I was very disappointed when I found out too. I think I am gonna skip their story.

Well, all projects Talay is with Yoon, were programmed/filmed before the success of "My Engineer", so I think we have hopes that Talay will be paired with Perth from now (or at lest more often). I mean, we already have "My Engineer 2" and "Bitter Sweet" to wait for :)

Plus, Talay and Perth became extremely close and frequently post videos with each other and their chemistry is so natural so I doubt production companies will pass on that, considering also how popular of a pairing they are ;)

Unfortunately, that scene is not in the books so we'll have to wait and see :) As far as I know, they took a lot of liberties with the script and change a lot of elements from the books!

From your previous post I got you are familiar with Nan's situation but just got the names and who is who wrong. So I am gonna list the characters for you (if I am mistaken and you need me to explain Nan's background more feel free to tell me and will give you more explanations :) )

So here we are:

Nan's family and connected characters:

-Nuea: his half, blood related brother. The biological son of Nan's parents. He has a wonderful relationship with Nan and often pretends to be his boyfriend in order to protect him from people hitting on him. He develops a crush on Pi and becomes Mork's rival in the books. He was my original guess of who is kissing Pi with the balloons, but now I doubt they will introduce him in the last two episodes... (not introduced yet)

-Nakin: his not blood related, step brother with whom they are in love with each other. He is the father's biological, illegitimate son and he is currently in the US. (not introduced yet)

-An: his cousin. He is friends with Nan and Nuea, and also occasionally pretends to be his boyfriend in order to protect him from those courting him. (not introduced yet)

-Dr. Tat: the guy Nan's trying to date in order to forget Nakin. He fails and they break up. (not introduced yet)

Mork's family and friends:

-Meen: his younger brother

-Bam: his friend who helps him get Pi.

Pi's family:

-Wan: his eldest brother who came to dinner with his boyfriend (๑>ᴗ<๑)

-Duen: his older, middle brother who'll date Meen.

And these are all the characters! Hope that helps... I really wish we'll get a second season for the second book and that we'll get to meet all the characters we haven't been introduced to yet ;D

Nan's stepbrother whom he fells in love with, is named Nakin :)
It's a very complicated story to narrate and all the names don't help XD It's understood you got confused!!!

The antagonist in the novel is actually Nan's half brother (he has one half brother and one step brother) who is named Nuea. Nuea has a crush on Pi in the books and becomes Mork's rival.

I would be very surprised though if they introduce him in the last two episodes. Maybe if we are lucky enough we will get a second season for the second book :)

p.s. Wan is Pi's eldest brother!

Well, the episodes have already millions of views on Youtube and the show is still ongoing, so I would say the series are doing as well as they hoped it would do. A lot of people are waiting for a show to end in order to binge watch it, so the views will go up a bit after it's finished. Even here, at MDL, the number of watchers is significant and slightly larger than the rest of the other ongoing BLs. So I would say, it's popular alright.

The rerun of 2gether is part of the promotion of the upcoming movie and has nothing to do with how much success other shows were or are. GMMTV does that with every old show that has new content. They did it with Dark Blue Kiss as well, a couple of weeks ago, in order to promote the DVD set.

But I guess only time will tell how successful FUTS will be eventually in comparison with the other GMMTV shows. The couple as you said it's really good (both chemistry and acting wise) so I really hope we'll see them together again as a couple on future projects :)

I love his character so much! I wish we saw more of him and Koh. They both seem so interesting and sexy in a mysterious yet goofy way XD

Yeah, I saw that yesterday and I think I am gonna skip their story. I can't handle any tragedy in my BLs and I love Lay and Perth together, so that would be a hard pass for me

I agree about Keam's hair 100%. One should really be able to pull this hairstyle off in order for it to be sexy and not awkward, and Keam does it with ease.
But he should really shave the sides!!!

I think it's worth watching! It's a very lighthearted, cute comedy series and the main couple has wonderful chemistry.
The only cliche trope it has, besides taking place at university, is the usual shippers, but they treat the topic seriously which is refreshing to watch.
Other than that, it's a perfect, not-too-serious/groundbreaking BL to fix someone's mood and pass time pleasantly :)
