I don't know, to me it does hint romance, even if it does it in a very subtle way. Like the way he tells her that he started talking less but he talked about everything with his wife only, but now he's basically talking to the FL more than to anyone else. And then she tells him that time heals wounds and that person can be replaced. To me it reads like a very typical slow burn, the only thing that doesn't make sense is that they only have 5 episodes left, so It doesn't feel like they would have time to proper develop it unless they do a second season.

I wish people would stop bringing up stuff from the star's personal life. The guy was acquitted of all charges, 9 freakin years ago. Why are we still talking about this, and why in the comments section for a show? If people are that invested in every little thing that this actor does in his private life, just go to a freakin gossip website and talk about it to your heart's content there.

That's a funny way of saying he was cleared of all charges and the woman who accused him was convicted of making false allegations.
Stop bringing this nonsense here. People just want to talk about the show, not the personal lives of the stars.

I think the reason why there are a lot of people pushing back against the no romance idea is also the fact that the series was very obviously going the romance way from the very beginning. It's obvious if you look at the trailers, it's obvious in all of their interractions, and it's obvious in the opening credits which conclude with a love heart behind the title. It doesn't seem to me like the romance is going to be very pervasive, the law will probably continue to be the central element of the story, but the romance is definitely there, and it's been there from the very begining. So I think for me at least, I don't understand why people who don't want romance would choose to watch this series when it's obvious it has a romantic element to it.
