Guys the finale is actually pretty decent and intriguing. It gives us some appropriate closure or even an exciting base for season 2 if they decided to make it. Spoiler : the last scene showing Sakiko preparing food for more than one person (there's at least two plate shown) and the final scene showing a light green shirt being dried in the hanger, can't help notice that is the same shirt (or at least same color) that being worn by Sonoda in the very first scene of the episode while he was talking to Sakiko in the laundry. 😭😭🙏🙏🙃🙃🙃

And they release them delay by a week. Episode 7 literally broadcast on August 21st

Mitsuru seems like a total red flag lol. He has a mental state of a child and integrity like a lettuce. Even in the flashback scene I wonder how Sakiko fell in love with him. It's more like a sympathy, pity, and similar view of life than real love. Sakiko just found "love" with Itsuki but she doesn't know it yet.

Seo still has a husband that is alive and she knows that. And Seo still need to clear something about his affair with Azusa. I don't mind Seo moving on but then again the ambiguous grey area is what makes the drama interesting.

Finally, a proper adult drama for millennial like me. The age-appropriate cast, the age-appropriate story, and even they decided that Spitz working on the theme song. It's all on my checklist. I'm rooting for Seo and Sonoda but my morality doesn't agree. And that's what makes this drama interesting.
