Love the series…The casts, actings, cinematography, directing and the visuals are amazing ❤️ Definitely one of my favorite BL of all times 💚 What am I gonna do on Friday now….Can’t move on from this masterpiece…Time to go back into this loop and rewatch from ep 1 🤣
Hope they will release a special ep soon & Looking forward to more series & projects from Up & Poom 🥰 Amazing chemistry & actings!
One more day…Let the countdown begin! I kinda have a mixed feeling though…Really want to watch the finale, but not ready to say goodbye to this amazing series yet 😭 Ming & Joe better give us a HE tmrw!
Given his effort this ep, you have to spell our red-flag turned green-flag baby name correctly or else he’s gonna get jealous 😂 just playing with you…I love Ming too 🥰
I just started this (still on EP 1) and I'm so confused already 🤣. Joe fell off a cliff and woke up in a body…
I’m sure you probably get it now if you reached the middle of ep 1. Basically, the Joe that we see on screen fell off the cliff, then he woke up in a younger body (also named Joe) - The new body supposed to look better than the old Joe. We, the audience, still see the old Joe on screen (I’m glad they made it that way since Poom’s actings & visuals are top notch) but everyone else see the person in the mirror (played by Winner) so no one know he’s the old Joe. So you understood it correctly.
The guy in the model ads at the hospital is Ming…then you’ll get to see their backstory from 3 yrs ago in ep 1-4
you're telling me this isn't in the novel!! also the stairs part had me dying
😂 I was yelling at Ming too…Why don’t you catch Joe and had him roll down the stairs! 🤬🤣🤬 I guess Ming was just too shocked and in reality you just can’t react in time during that split second.
Also, they can’t really do the family drama part like the novel since Ming’s family were all big military commanders and that’s powerful in China. And Ming’s dad was way worse in the novel (he only let Ming out of the house when Ming promised to get married later)…So I’m glad the series didn’t do that and we get to see Ming’s smart/spoiled side when he pretended to throw up 😂
The screenwriters fucked upit’s ok to mess up with the timelines and change some things in the story, because…
They can’t really do the family drama part like the novel since Ming’s family were all big military commanders and that’s powerful in China. I don’t like that they kinda give Tong a redemption arc in the series, but I don’t really like the last part of the novel either…In the novel, I feel like nothing much happened to Tong and the bad sister was still by his side. Only Tong’s father get affected…Ming & Mike in the novel said they couldn’t do much because Tong+the bad sister are still part of their family. But the dad was even worse in the novel, he beat Ming so hard when he retaliated against Tong and Ming was in a cast. And the dad didn’t really accept Joe and the grandpa had to intervene, saying that they’re still young and will break-up eventually. In the series, I hate the kidnapping part too, but I think Joe’s protecting Ming will be the reason that makes Ming’s father accept their relationship.
I like that the series didn’t do the marriage thing like the novel. We even get to see Ming’s smart/spoiled side when he pretended to throw up 😂 For the last ep, I wonder if they will make Tong lose his fame and quit the entertainment industry…Tong need to get some comeuppance for his manipulative behaviors. In the novel, Joe just ignored Tong since he wasn’t envious or felt bother by Tong anymore.
Episode 11 strikes again…though, for some reason, I’m feeling delusionally optimistic about 12…
I think we will get a HE since this series follow the book pretty closely except the mafia/usury + kidnapping part. They can’t really do the family drama like the novel since Ming’s family were all big military commanders. Based on the preview, I think when Joe opened that door, he will see a flashback of how much Ming suffered when the old Joe disappeared 3 yrs ago…Then we all know how Joe is pretty soft hearted and based on his trend …No matter how many times, Joe will still choose Ming. His heart is simping for Ming…Don’t think Joe will let us down this time 😂 He will probably close that door and choose the first one to go back to Ming.
For the original body, I don’t think Joe gonna get it back. The older Joe didn’t want to die, but the younger Joe didn’t want to live (he jumped into the river himself) and if you notice both Joes have the same birthday (except the year) so that’s probably why they let the older Joe come back in this new Joe’s body.
Here’s the preview: https://youtu.be/5Y3pTQupxQA?si=zs803MaBufkcfxvx
I think when Joe grabbed that door, we gonna get to see the flashback of Ming’s suffering when old Joe died…I’m looking forward to that flashback since ep 4 😭 And based on Joe’s trend…we all know who he gonna choose.
It has to be misleading there’s no way they’ll give us a sad ending..he’s gonna return somehow
I think we gonna get to see Ming’s suffering when he found out Joe fell off the cliff…And Joe will always choose Ming, no matter how many times, his heart is just simping for Ming 😭
Has anyone watched "Blossoms in Adversity"? I am thinking of starting it but i am a bit hesitant. How is the romance…
OMG…It’s so good. If you haven’t started it yet, you should give it a try. I was so hooked since ep 1. Plot is great, mature romance, strong ML & FL and most importantly HE!
The romance is slow in the first 10 eps but you can see their chemistry build up and the romance speed up more starting from ep 13. Love their romance…It’s very mature, no stupid misunderstanding, no annoying SFL or SML (bc the king is enough…he’s like a SFL 😂 good thing he only interfered towards the end). ML & FL never waver for someone else…There’s a small breakup from ep 33-36 but they still run into each other and kinda work together so it’s not annoying.
Can anyone tell me why Ming didn't want to use their couple Mugs? Joe did ask the same question but Ming kinda…
I think it’s because the couple mugs are broken and glued together so I don’t think anyone would use them in real life lest they may break again. Joe was being sarcastic and tried to piss Ming off when he mentioned the mugs.
I'm waiting for the entire drama to come out, though I've read the book a couple times. But can someone tell me…
That’s a smart move…I read the book and couldn’t resist the temptation and started to binge watch it after ep 8 and now I’m just suffering, waiting for Friday to come faster. 😭
I like the series more than the book…the plot, characters and the actors are amazing! And I’m glad Poom play both Joe's in the series
Okay question please for those who have read the story, I'm happy to be spoiled with this please! But I can see…
In the novel, the lawyer thing was done by Ming’s mom (maybe a bit instigated by what Tong said to her)…we’ll see if they gonna change it in the series but it will definitely be someone from Ming’s family and it has nothing to do with Sol.
Ming only had to grovel for a day and Joe gave in. Well, can’t blame him because my heart also went soft looking at his puppy’s eyes…I’m actually surprised Joe was able to hold out for a day 😂😂😂
Hope they will release a special ep soon & Looking forward to more series & projects from Up & Poom 🥰 Amazing chemistry & actings!

So kinda like how we wish this series will have more eps…Not ready to say goodbye yet 😭
