200% agree. I watched the first episode totally confused. The directing feels way too off. As a fan of ZLH especially in PoJ I was really surprised how this drama was filmed. The scenes feel like from standard vertical drama from few years ago. Camera work and transitions are lacking and combined with soundtrack whole drama feels low budget. I will give it a try though because of the main cast.

They are together during the story progression. They don’t get together at the end of the series but in the middle acc to novel.

I find it hilarious that the Chinese fans hate Cai Minmin the most. And they can't even really put out a reason…
Out of everything in this series I enjoy Cai Minmin and He CanYang relationship the most. Though she is immature and I am still little confused if he likes her or not I think their relationship is the most natural and mature there. She comes off spoiled and bratty but she is totally adorable and her character is growing.
