Everything about Kunwu is already disgusting, but if its Chief Ke - who has been operating right under our noses - then we'd really be able to emphatise with our characters in the show.

If KJP is really Kunwu, that really nails in what an awful person Kunwu is. On top of the KMT agents who were killed, he will also have the blood of all those Japanese spies on his hands. KJP was actively involved in the search for mister and the list!

HS's statement of "Kunwu is a really formidable and scary opponent" will be an extreme understatement.

Ye Ming's background is still not clear. Sure - its tightly knitted to Chief Ke, but why was her family killed and why did Chief Ke "adopt" her? That is still unclear. Its understandable that the writers haven't revealed this because it will hint at Chief Ke's intentions and identity.

What is not understandable is why Hong Qi's background still so clouded. They've portrayed him as the innocent heir that is kept out of politics to carry on the family legacy, and I'm totally bought in to his innocence. I'm sure he's not Kunwu.

But, I can't help but wonder if there's a bigger story behind his origins. If its not a plot hole, it will definitely influence how our players are playing the game. BUT HOW?

I will be so upset at this show if he's revealed to a hidden enemy.

Another sus plot that hasn't been explained yet is about Hong Qi and Hong Shen's relationship. I remember them alluding to the fact that they aren't full siblings but we're now in ep 30. Why haven't they explained it yet????? Did I miss it? Is this a plot driver or a plot hole?

Yes! We're just past the halfway point so there could be a bunch of people that have yet to be introduced. But with that said, I would be properly upset it KunWu appears only in the final ep!

It would be utterly heartbreaking if it were true, though! He did make a good show of getting grandma's approval for HS involvement and playing the "my bro's legacy is my legacy now" card with HS.

I hope another character shows up as Kunwu so I can feel less bleak about life.

So I'm trying to piece together all the bits of information that we know about Kunwu. So, far I've gathered that s/he is:

- Probably >35 years of age, seeing that they've been undercover for 15 years
- Is on the Japanese's side
- Likely to be around muzhi's age?
- Has been close to Muzhi
- Has access to NBIS
- Is waiting to reunite with 1 male, 1 female + an old lady

If its not a character that has yet to be introduced, my money is on Yang.

I don't think she is. They kidnapped Myna's daughter and used it to blackmail him. If she was really Myna's daughter, there would be no reason for Myna to go into hiding.
