I can't believe so many terrible trope-abusing dramas have a higher rating than this. I get that everyone has their own opinion but a 7.9 feels disrespectful.

I don't think the players ever noticed the games on the walls. They were too involved in and traumatized by what was going on to ever mention it. I think the audience noticed but they were just trying not to get murdered.

I also think from his perspective that guy helped him for almost 3 years and actually did what he asked with no questions. Everyone else is new and has a pretty sketchy past, so he would distrust them before his ride-or-die sailor, who is also playing dumb so well. U Seok the gangsta will probably call him out and pay for it, but he doesn't trust the cop either.

I love that we finally get to see a pink jumpsuit character's backstory! So far they have only been baby-faced soldiers or organ harvesters, but she has a real story and perspective that makes you empathize much more.

I think it's only obvious because we know and see everything. From the other character's perspective, it's not obvious at all,

Jun-Ho is a flawed character. He is smart but an impulsive hero who will act based on emotion first and not necessarily think things through which can make him easier to manipulate in some situations. It's also hard to separate his feelings for his brother from his duty.

Jun-Ho doesn't exactly know his brother was chilling drinking whisky while casually watching the games. Would he still cover for him if he knew he was pretty much a psychopath? I don't know.

Meanwhile, was anyone else distracted by the overhead monkey bars-like image on the walls that is likely going to be a game that will eliminate a lot of likable characters if they play with arm strength alone o.O???!!!

I think that's because Season 1 was meant to be a complete story and Season 2 is meant to be Act 1 before intermission. I expect more emotion now that we were introduced to the characters will likely be in Act 2 (aka Season 3)

I think what I like the most about Season 2 is that so many of the characters only have part of the story. Jun Ho kept his brother's role a secret so even with a fake name Seong Gi Hun would have no clue who the masked "Front Man" could be, and even his BFF #390 never told anyone what happened in their room for 2 which would have revealed just how twisted and dangerous he could be. It also made The Front Man super interesting and hard to read.

I think it's safe to say when he shot his brother he called on the sailor to rescue Jun Ho That's why I wasn't shocked that he was the one keeping him from finding the island.

I think his ex noticed that Jeong won noticed this In Ji twice? Once at graduation and then again at the shop with the spider. Was that their only connection because that seems pretty shallow.

I know they were both in mourning at the graduation…. Or at least I think they were… and I know Jeong Won and Seo Yeon were together for most of their lives but that seems a super randonly obsessive reason to fixate on In Ji. And did he remember her too or not?

I know Mo Eum is meant to be honest in an admirable way but she sure is seeming judgmental and nosey in a way that’s getting on my nerves.

I liked that it was soooo extreme, but I get why people don't.

I think Yeong Ha was so passive that only an insanely crazy character could get him to eventually do anything. Even his initial responses to her were just passive-aggressive ones.

Go Min Si felt less like she was playing a realistic character and more like a satire going to the extreme because she is used to thriving in a world of no consequences or rules that will always cater to her whims.

If she was too "realistic" I don't think Yeong Ha would have done anything. He would have just waited around hoping she would finally leave. That would be super boring.

I think the timeline is supposed to be confusing on purpose. Especially when it comes to the son's story.

Yes the story is over the top but I think one realistic part is that many people would not want to get involved like Yeong Ha, or would be too intimidated to act like Sang Jun's son. I like the sketchiness of the characters, and that they didn't just save the poor choices for the villains.
