unlike some people here in the comments, I thought hyungyu was the high point of this season lol he was godamn intelligent during the games and smart in his choices and decisions. yes, he was cold since the beginning and did everything in his own benefit. and that's the exact combo you need to win the devil's game: intelligence + coldness. and he did exactly that. you can dislike him all you want, but say he doesn't have skills or it's not intelligent is absurd.
It still got worse? I completely forgot about this kdrama, I’m still stuck on episode 10, should I drop this?
in my honest opinion it's not worthy, it only gets worse 🫠 I was about to drop in ep 10 but decided to watch the remaining episodes... I should've just dropped
terrible experience for me. at first it seemed good and enjoyable but then it got worse and worse... the plot is a mess, the characters are terrible (except for ML and 2FL) and the ending so boring! I wonder why I continued this instead of dropping it, I should've listened to my inner voice before 🤡
it's not a waste of time like people are saying. I personally think it was very good. imo, if you like this genre, it's worth watching. so here goes my advice: don't go by people's bad reviews - give it a try and take your own conclusion!
this one was on my watchlist for a long time, then I finally decided to start cuz I got hyped with lee jongsuk acting after watching big mouth... and thankfully I did! I started W with no expectations and it became a favourite. loved it! (and now I'm even more hyped with lee jongsuk lol)
I rewatched this drama so many times - at first absolutely hated Gi Seok character, then I felt sorry for him…
the thing is that the relationship got to a point in which everything he did annoyed her, even the smallest things, so done she was with him. I've seen a relationship happen like this irl, and it's tough. I could understand her dissatisfaction with him, but at the same time, I do think she was too harsh on him.
so yeah, I agree with you on that. she exaggerates in some scenes and that's why I felt sorry for giseok at the beginning - until she breaks up and he becomes unbearable to me. but yes, if she had a problem with him, she should've been honest about her feelings and broken up from the beginning.
both are flawed, agreed! I just didn't like him at all cuz of his behaviour from the break up and on. very immature and toxic imo.

during the 4 year relationship, yes she did. she LOVED, not anymore. jeongin herself said this in episode 18. you don't start a relationship blindly, but also don't know the person fully. a lot of people don't show their selfish side and flaws in the beginning of relationship.
she's not an immaculate person and I never said that, I just think the main fault is his.
anyways, that's just my opinion and u don't have to agree. just defending my pov.

having the basic idea? it's not about that. you don't start a relationship fully knowing the person - they'll show their true selves with time. she said she tolerated his careless personality and negligence cause she loved him and wanted it to work. but try to stay in a relationship like this for 4 years. it gets to a point when it's unbearable.
she WAS wrong about not breaking up earlier and get to the point of cheating. but that's it.

I agree with you - it's his personality, he's arrogant and selfish. in my opinion, the only fault jeongin had was not to break up with giseok before, cuz it felt like cheating - but then she was confused and was not sure about her feelings about jiho and vice versa. anyways, the thing is that I get her, it's not easy to be neglected like that.
I didn't say jiho wasn't the reason of jeongin breaking up. I said he wasn't the reason why giseok didn't accept the break up - cuz when she did, giseok didn't even know about jiho. he didn't accept the break up for sheer selfishness and pride, and when he found out about jiho it only got worse.
from the comments I've read before watching (without spoilers ofc) it seemed like the ending would be terrible. thank God I only believe something if I see for myself lol c'mon guys. ending was a bit rushed? yes. but coherent and emotional. the only flaw I can point out is the murderer guy which was mentioned and then forgotten. apart from that, it was a very decent ending for an amazing drama!
