Yes, secondary pairings are Liu Jun and Hong Xiu. There is also a long distance couple but their names don't appear on the cast and credits. Also, an official Bai Ke, with a one-sided crush on iron-willed official Hu Die. The secondary couple LJ and HX is very slow burn romance.

I'm on ep 12 and so far there are some instances when he's been jealous, but subtle jealousy nothing very passionate yet. He does defend her passionately from villains. I love the jealousy parts too!
