I think he would be happy with her cuz she's just awesome and he knows this. I had hoped the Sergeant wouldn't be devastated when he found out she's been there all this time, but he looked pretty devastated today. She's pretty amazing our female lead, I think he's attracted to her. He first asked where she was sleeping of all things to ask. He wants her. I feel sorry for him, I hope he stays with the princess and doesn't die. I agree he's a traditional kind of guy and so to him she's already his wife, He doesn't want to let go as per today's episode.
