Title Xiao Fang Spoiler
Okay, I really dislike their familes. If they were willing to help Xiaofang and Xiaowei, (which I do not think…
One of the very few people in that family who gets a pass is the grandma. Her aunts are so nosy and love to gossip. I'm not even Asian, but where I'm from we have a saying: "pueblo chico, infierno grande" or "small town, big hell," for situations exactly like this, where everyone is in everyone else's business.

I also really want to know their family history and why there are so many issues between them. I didn't read the synopsis before I started watching, so after the first episode I honestly thought it was going to be a modern retelling of Romeo and Juliet. Turns out it's something completely different.

Of course, there are only three episodes out so far, so it's still too early to judge the drama as a whole. But if it keeps up this level of writing and performances, I think it'll be a really solid watch.

I'm really enjoying this so far. The storyline has kept me invested, and the acting has been consistently strong. The cinematography is beautiful, the color palette is well thought out, and the wardrobe and OST elevate every scene.

My biggest issue is the ml and his family. Both families are intrusive in their own ways, but the female lead at least knows what she wants and isn't afraid to voice it. Her family also comes across as noticeably more open-minded than his.

What frustrates me the most is that he's about to become a father, yet he still lacks the courage to stand up for himself or express what he truly wants. Unfortunately, men like him exist everywhere, which makes his characterization feel believable, even if it's incredibly aggravating to watch.

That said, I think that's a testament to both the writing and the performances. The actors have done such a convincing job that these characters genuinely get under my skin (in the best way possible). If a drama can make me this invested (and this frustrated), it's clearly doing something right.
