So far just on Episode 8.. My favourite summoning was him refusing while watching tv and holding an umbrella. Just his like. Complete disappointment LMFAO.
In Pinyin (English Alphabet) yes they have the same name! But in Chinese names the characters in Hanzi are often different and mean different things. There are also only 4000 surnames for 1.5 billion people! Xu Jing Jing, our lead female, is 许晶晶 which means Xu for "to promise" Jing Jing for "the full moon". Xu Jing Jing, our second female lead, is 徐青青, Xu for "Narrate" and Jing Jing for probably "youth" but they have many different meanings for this character! They're also verbally said differently but since some English people are overwhelmed with reading and keeping up with the storyline through subtitles, we miss out on pronunciation differences. FL's name is said like: Shh-oo-uh Jee-ung Jee-ung, SFL is said like: Shh Oo Chi-ung Chi-ung. To be fair FL's name sounds stronger and SFL's name sounds softer/more feminine to my ears.
I could get the Hanzi, pronunciation and their meanings wrong, I am an Anglophone Canadian and not at all Asian. (I'm Algonquin-Huron/French Canadian). I wrote their characters in a pinyin-to-hanzi translator and then I used a dictionary (not google translate) to figure out the pronunciation. I'm not fluent, I just have an Art History degree with specialization in East Asian art and researched a lot on translating Hanzi for my essays.
Ok I agree with your analysis of personalities.. But nurses are generally strong-willed people. In an actual hospital…
If I didn't love Nian Bai, and the like miscarriage arc didn't happen to the two girls I'd sign up for sismance.. But that's like not a thing in Chinese Dramaland or hasn't been since all the bans.
Dr. Huang is very biased towards Du Di, and her friend is too kind but stupid at the same time, she somehow makes…
Ok I agree with your analysis of personalities.. But nurses are generally strong-willed people. In an actual hospital setting you see nurses more often than you see a doctor. Saying Cong Rui is like a nurse is a huge compliment, which yes she has amazing bed-side manners but she's not as equipped like most nurses I know or have had.
Just thought I'd respond! I'm a mom who had her child in a rather gruesome emergency C-section and I also have dealt with being in the ICU and have had constant battles with infections in childhood. I've met my fair share hehe! Also a bestfriend of mine is a nurse and she's more like Du Di in personality.
Agree, also I think this is a way to make her character develop further in the drama. After all, this is just…
No problem! I was there with my husband for his appointment and his surgery took place in the room beside me after. I just thought you'd be intrigued by this info! :).
Also vasectomies are known to fail easily if done wrong, and the tubes can reform and you can reverse the vasectomy so there are many things that make her being pregnant plausible. (There are also different vasectomy procedures. My husband has a very permanent kind because I am at very high risk of death if I have another child).
But yeah I'm sure they wanted to just get him out easily for plot.

The wife of someone who got a vasectomy after we had our child. It takes 3 months to flush out their systems and there is potential that their sterilization isn't 100%. Men have to be tested until there is a steady 0% of passing sperm.
But yes you can freeze it, it's a question you get upon getting your appointment.
That preview for ep 12 doesn’t seem like a final episode. I don’t watch many Thai dramas, so do they sometimes…
From what I know no one ever knows the actual amount of episodes a Lakorn has. 10 is the like "General Amount of Episodes". So we could have upwards of 16.
Damn Koreans, especially small village/town people sure seem quite intrusive unlike anywhere i have ever seen…
Really? I'm Canadian and I know so many intrusive rural towns. I live in a satellite of towns and very small cities with a couple of villages and farm areas. So many people get really nosy about peoples' business.
Revisiting this drama after a year, as I seem to do with it :). I have sensory sensitivities. One of the major ones being auditory but do to this I am a sucker for a drama that invests in beautiful voices, sounds and calming OSTs. This drama, as said by many, is very healing. The investment in the audio of this drama is amazing. The storyline is slow but it's very serotonin-filled.
Finished it again in 2022. All time fav 🤍painful yet healing. The hugs, the way they look at each other, and…
When it was broadcasting we were slammed by COVID. It was really beautiful to watch and it was healing during the same time. I always rewatch at least once a year now :)!
I didn't skipped even one second yet i wondered how fast it ended 🤔 this is Masterpieces Kd-Drama .If u wanna…
It was to be a full-16-episode drama but due to the fact it didn't do well in Korea it was shortened to 12 episodes. I watched during broadcasting :<. It is very beautiful.

I liked her a lot too :)!
