Some people are saying how calling FL selfish is hatred and how much she is getting hate. But isn't FL really…
doing something for the sake of someone when they didn't ask you to is true selfishness. just because you have good intentions when doing something doesn't mean the impact is also good. he's given more grace because he's a man.
when the ml is good, every one calls him a green flag even is he slips up once or twice. meanwhile, people expect the fl to work to 'deserve' him, and if she slips up, she's severely flawed. it's hard to measure if they're equal effort in love when love languages are portrayed differently. just because the way one person loves is louder does not always mean it's more.
What’s going on with the actress Han Ji Hyeon? I feel like it’s really hard for her to get roles. I genuinely…
i mean, she's had a couple of main roles but they didn't really do well. i do think she is talented but unfortunately getting type casted after cheer up.
the ai opening is annoying me so bad it's deterring me from watching. was it too hard to record a 15 second intro? you're a big corporation, have some shame. you could afford to make 1000 intros.
i will say i do enjoy this season more than previous ones for a few reasons.
1. it's so refreshing to see not everyone be a full time model. we have an optician, a quant trader, information systems major, an athlete, etc etc. makes this batch of contestants a bit more real feeling.
2. an alpha girl! i didn't get the minji hype at first, but it's super nice to see someone true to themselves.
3. there's no 'one' main character. last season, we had 80% of the screen time on sian and her love square. this season, mina being problematic, minji being a boss girl, heesun + subin love line, hyunwoo + hyunjae puppy love, etc etc i'm paying attention to everyone. i usually have like 4-5 people i skip but i even replay yejin scenes and my girl barely gets screen time.
i don't know if anyone else realizes but mina sue is acting a lot in the last episode. when minji confronts her, the way her voice softens to try to make herself sound soft and innocent. same with when she was crying and peeking. also in paradise with seungil when she told him 'don't tell me what to do' she kept putting on that same voice too.
i'm a fan of both kim hyeyoon and lomon but definitely have to drop this. an unfortunate miss for a great filmography, but will be tuning in to future projects.
mina sue is so cringe when she does that weird eye fluttering thing when she acts nervous. her personality and looks are both just bad. she acts like such a pick me, and i'm not sure why she keeps complaining to everyone. it's giving 'woe is me', the self vicitimization is too much. plus, she didn't even faint LOL
also she's stringing sunghun along even though she knows she's not actually into him. i think the other girls not liking sunghun also makes her not like him as much, she gives the vibes of those girls who only like taken guys.
she also tries to make mingee look bad and tough, saying 'omg poor little me i'm so scared of her' but then still goes after all the guys that she wants anyways. not sure why she's acting like she's not reaching out to them anyway...plus mingee has told her numerous times to her face not to mind her.
i think she wishes that she was on the island alone with all the guys, lmao.
i personally dislike her very much now however she's very gorgeous, she has that natural & fresh looking features.…
honestly the only thing i found charming about her is her personality, i love when they’re not shy. but to be honest she looks like any average girl i’d pass on the street
didn't sunghun cheat on his ex? i remember that tiktok. mina is a tad bit annoying. i'm not really into minji yet, trying to understand the hype. every one else is okay.
also, jooyoung looks super familiar, i've definitely seen her somewhere.
