when she burnt her fingers why touch her ear? have never understood that
I see a lot of people do this. I think it's mostly because the ears feel cooler than any other parts of the body, so it helps to quickly soothe the fingers when you touch something too hot.
I'm planning to start this, it looks good. I don't understand the hype of MRN. It's an Ok watch, story seems to…
Yeah I'm already watching those. I had a feeling this will have the same vibe as Legend of Kitchen Soldier; The posters look serious but drama is actually funny . ๐
Despite the rating, this is really a good drama. I see myself looking forward to this drama instead of MRN. Canโt…

In a current reality where hardly any justice gets served, it's personally really very satisfying to watch them do it here in a fictional world, at least.
Loved this! The starting, maybe 2 eps weren't anything i looked forward to, but I was really laughing my head off by the middle. The characters are just so absurd they throw comedy at your face one after the other, I barely had time to breathe in between laughs. Although by the end of it I do wonder, whatwith the constant health toll the ability has on Eun Woo's character, how he managed to stay alive in the end, lol. I thought for sure he'd end up a goner.
Reviews from Cannes are not so great :https://www.thewrap.com/creative-content/movies/cannes-2026-gun-che-colony-review/https://www.ecranlarge.com/films/critique/colony-critique-dernier-die-hard-pour-busan
Hm, i found out about this movie from koreatimes' post, but they are saying the cast received standing ovation at Cannes, yet you're saying the reviews aren't great. Wonder how they could be completely opposite ๐
So i'm currently casually watching Blood River, and in the middle of watching the 2nd ep of this one. I'm finding this to have the same 'matter-of-fact' way of storytelling as Blood River. Along with great picture quality they feel very similar in that sense to me. It's kind of funny it's like I'm watching an alternate story from within the same chronicles-type of feels.
I held off watching this until I finally did and watched all 8 eps straight. This was enganging from the start for me. Didn't feel the need to take a break, it didn't make me uncomfortable at any point, the story just flowed from beginning up to now. Which means, this is good. Felt slightly dissapointed having to wait another week for the next one.
Had no expectations and wasn't interested in this at first, but I'm glad I watched! It's unexpectedly entertaining, and in contrast to the military setting, lighthearted, which makes it a very enjoyable watch. Can't wait for the next episodes!
Still only at the 1st el, but I really can't understand how a woman can have such a small waist like the FL. Like seriously, where would all the food get stored in the stomach? how would she store air for stomach breathing? The waist area has got to also fit the back bone, liver, kidneys, not to mention muscles, fat, etc etc. So like how is it THAT small? ๐คฃ๐
It's unfortunate how the ending is very realistic, which also made me wonder how they manage to write XuFeng's ending that way. Don't all Chinese dramas usually have a requirement of putting in writing that all the bad people were punished at the end? Yet he seemed to be able to slip through unscathed.
What I really want to know though, after all those sordid things ML did, how on earth did FL and her ex explain everything to their kid?
The FL didn't dissapoint at the end, and actually, considering everything she went through, it's admirable how she was able to face it all. Anyway, this was a good thriller all around.
Iโve already watched two episodes, and the pacing is really fast. The comedy and suspense scenes are well done,…
Thanks for this. Looking at the tags I noticed there's no comedy tag. I was just about to say, after reading the synopsis and watching WHD's Guardians of Dafeng I expected comedy to be there. ๐ Good to know it's got it too! I wanted to start 800 before, but hesitated because it looked so serious. I think i'll be watching this first ๐
I love this drama. I think among the ones I've watched so far, this does the best job delving into its supporting characters' storylines. They not only focus on the leads but also shared the spotlight with the supporting characters, and that really made the the drama much better as a whole. Each of the supporting characters are well thought out and they are all given the proper time for the development of the cause and effect of their actions- all of which are like woven karmic relationships. You can see the rationale of why everyone did what they did, and the deserved endings they each got. This made it a very satisfying watch for me
I have to say I don't feel any of the suspense or thriller, lol. Maybe I need to focus more, but so far it all feels like a collection of unrelated events, and it's not making me feel invested in any of it. I'll keep watching though, still good enough to watch the acting.
I watched the first ep right when it was airing, but then never found the motivation to continue๐ Then coming here and looking at this page, unfortunately does nothing for my hesitation. ๐
