Actually this is a really good movie. Beautiful cinematography, very good actors, a smooth scenario and dialouges. I think time shift was a bit confusing, or it was just for me, or maybe they didnt do a great job explaining things. OThet than that I very much like it. Im just so fed up with this homoerotic subtext or censored bl joke. When you make a story just do it with all braveness.

Ok Im on ep 8 and I kinda hate every character so far. I hate both good and bad characters which is a first for me. This series is full or very loud ladies. Noone knows how to speak, everybody just screams. Except for the oldest daughter. She is unbearably silent and useless and annoying. She is good for nothing!!!Nobody knows how to explain themselves and nobody knows how to listen others. Especially the youngest daughter, noone listens her which is super annoying. I hate almost everything but I keep watching because I have 'I cant leave anything in middle' disease. I will update here when Im done.
Now that Im done, I can say that the only good thing about this series is Bae Soo Bin's acting skills. Other than that everything was a mess! Now I could give a couple spoilers so read in caution!
I thought I was gonna watch a jealous, possesive loving man who looks cold and scary outside but has a good heart; instead I saw an actual psycho. I hated almost every character, good or bad doesnt matter. Middle sister disappeared suddenly, young one was the only tolerable person I guess. The interior designer ajussi looked like he was an important character but he never was afterall. Older sister... Omg she was the worst! She believed a total stranger's words over her own sister. She married with that psycho for what? For her sisters and family right? Then she and her youngest sister become housemaids, middle one started living in a strangers house. She never saw her sisters for 3 years...Your old life was so much better why the hell did you marry?? She should've felt so much guilt for her youngest one but instead she even thought of forgiving that psycho... Like dont you feel ashamed of what your sister has been through for all those years? Worst so called nice character ever!!! This is something I'd never ever watch. Also it was way too long, who needs 26 episodes for something like that? Im so stupid trying to find cool possesive/jealous characters on series, I deserved this!!! I should watch softie mama boysfor a while lol

Well Im being subjective here, but I dont think have the best mimics, voice control or body language. My best examples from the bl world would be Earth Mix, Zee Nunew, Daou Offroad, First Khao, most of the Taiwanese actors and many more that I cant remember or count right now. Im not an acting coach, these are my personal opinions. They just dont transfer emotions good enough. They are kinda dull.
There are amazing kissing/NC scenes in this series. Like omfg!!! They might be one of the best out there, both artistic and sexy. Its literally a festival after some point lol. But unfortunatelly, greatest NCs are not enough to make a series good. I think this was very very boring... 1) Tutor and Yim are super duper cute together and they have amazing on screen chemistry. But I dont think they are particularly talented actors and that had a very negative effect on here. 2) There were a lot of characters which made it extremely complicated to watch 3) There were many unnecessary imaginary scenes which also made it very complicated to watch 4) There were a lot of low quality voice overs and BGM were very very bad. 5) Nothing really happened through the episodes. Seriously this could've been easily a 3 episodes mini series. Nothing happened for real. These and many other reasons that I dont remember right now made this series uninteresting. Im usually a binger but this one took me a loooong time. Im sorry I really wanted to enjoy...
Watch Unintentional Love Story. The chase continues.
True his character was more healthy in ULS. But at the end of this one it felt like their relationship actually leveled up and they become more intimate. In ULS it was like they were in the beginning all over again. It didnt feel like it was the sequal of this. I enjoyed the closeness here, they were very distant for me in ULS. Thats why I like their private relationship here much more
I love love love Zhao Lu Si. Everything she makes turns out to be a great series, which is why I started this. I watched 1/3 of it now and I wanted to write my first thoughts: Sang Zhi annoyed the heck out of me. I hated how irresponsible, whiny, spoiled and unappreciative to her brother she is. Also I cant imagine a world where Jia Xu sees Sang Zhi as a woman, she must stay as his little sister forever. But ofcourse many things will happen and my thoughts might change. We'll see... I will update here when Im done.
Update now that I Finished it: Ok my bad, I spoke too fast. I didnt consider this series was 25 episodes. My opinion completely changed, they actually had a very healthy and stable love. You know what happened? Time happened. Time actually slowly changed their relationship and it wasnt awkward at all. They showed that change in the most slow and undertsandable way possible. It was almost too slow for me for a minute lol.But to transfer that feelings, those emotions to audience, it was okay to take things that slow I suppose. I enjoyed it very much. I just wanted to see a bit of more details about her brother. Her brother was my actual crush here lol. He always mentioned somethings about his personal life but we didnt get to see. I want more of him. Also it is my first time watching Chen Zhe Yuan. Omg what a cutie he is. He has the most adorable gaze and smile in the world. I already told I love Zhao Lu Si. They were great together. But I must say this has better rate than Dating in the Kitchen but I think DITK is THE BEST series of Lu Si. You should give it a try.
This series started with a very positive energy; good story with all those fun supernatural elements and this gave me high hopes. But in a couple of episodes I just understood that it was false hopes. Acting was mediocre, scenario was poorly written for such a good storyline. All that exciting supernatural stuff blew off and at some point nothing happened one episode over another, literally nothing happened. I really thought his dreams would lead us somewhere important but nothing exciting happened. Love story could've been much better as well. Childhood friend/Pi turning to lover is a very fun theme but somehow they made it look boring too. Short for long, they wasted a fun story, didnt like it.
Initial thoughts were good story but bad scenario, bad acting, no chemistry between leads... It was kind of boring and not fun for a loooong time. But then something magical happened and energy changed completely around ep 8 and last 4-5 episodes were super fun. Almost actors got more talented suddenly as if they stopped filming on ep 7, took some acting classes and kept going on lol. I was positively surprised and enjoyed the rest of it.
One big problem for me was, how they made mbti types look super important personal traits. As much as it might be accurate, its just a test that a lady and her mom created and nothing more meaningful than a horoscope sign. They made being an introvert or extrovert as a vital matter. Well, at the end they had this all speech about how those things dont matter but that felt silly because that was not a big problem for us anyways, you made it a big issue and then tried to teach us that it is not important if we are an introvert or an extrovert. Like? We already knew that... You didnt! As a heavy introvert, I never care or observe if people I meet are introverts or not. Ok this whole paragraph might sound a bit weird but I had my frustration and I had to get it out, sorry lol
PS. I felt super sad for MR. Shy. Dude didnt have any space for 2 steps!!!! Buy him a big aquarium Diew!!!!
Ok guys you need to help me. Im on ep 1 and Im so freaking sure that there was a VERY famous old bl that was EXACTLY like this one. Dorm neighbours, talking from balcony, didnt see eachothers face, gives some stuff (present,food) from the balcony or door... I cant remember details clearly but I know I watched a very famous bl like this one before. Im sure plot will be completely different on following episodes but Im talking about ep1. You know sometimes you remember a melody but you cant remember the song or the singer and you get crazy thinking about it? Im exactly like that right now! Scenario was super cliche, but I love cliches. It was very good watching Pit Babe cast in different characters. They were all amazing and they prooved how talented they are (Sailub especially is very talented and well, very sexy) NC scenes were over the top, extremely good!!! Like wow effect. BUT Something was missing and that made me not enjoy this series as much as I wanted to. Because I was super excited before for this production. Unfortunatelly I cant point out what was the missing element but at the end there is a disappointment for me...
