Title The On1y One
Well, there are plans to make a season 2 and if it's made, you'll get 12 new episodes 😉It's not certain yet,…
Ok plans are not enough for me, I need proof. I never trust plans of production team or directors lol
Also who leaves a story on there? Like seriously it was not the time to end the series, there wasnt any closure. Im really curious what the scenarist thought?? What kind of a mind write an amazing story but leave it on middle and doesnt write an ending? That wasnt even an open ending, that was like last scene of a mid episode, waiting for the next week.
Anyways, I will sign and seal any petition or send them hand written letters if necessary for a season 2 lol. If they are 'thinking' it will probably come in like 2 years... I needed to watch it now, right after season 1 when I still have the after taste but still, any season any time will be amazing.

Ok whats happening??? What was that final episode to an amazing series like that??? When all 12 episodes finished, it felt like its been only 5-6 episodes. It was that good, it was that absorbing. I need another season or 5-6 more episodes at leat. Seriously what the hell???

They were my favorite couple in No Gain No Love so the moment I finished it I ran here. I expected someting more exciting and spicy from this couple, not talking about NC scenes but like a juicy love story. Unfortunatelly it slightly disappointed me. I still think Lee Sang Yi is a super sexy man tho, I would watch this for him all over again lol.

On No Gain, No Love Oct 25, 2024
No Gain No Love had a really good scenario and cast. It included very different characters, orphans, fosters, a quad (which might be first in the Kdrama history). I really liked this diversity. It was very enjoyable to watch it, never got bored.
Shin Min Ah is one of my favorite Korean actresses ever and she is good in every character she portrays. I think Kim Young Dae is a good actor too but this could be one of his weakest performances ever. It must be impossible to not create a fiery chemistry with Shin Min Ah but somehow Young Dae looked dead beside her. I didnt like them together. I always thought Shin Min Ah would make an amazing couple with anybody but apparently not Kim Young Dae.
Second couple was wayyyyyy better!!! Lee Sang Yi's character was my favorite in the series. Actually I just realized that they have a spinoff so Im gonna watch it right now!

Im a sucker for romance so I wish there were some more lovey dovey scenes especially at the final episode. I mean, they easily look like two brothers or best friends in most scenes lol. But completely my own opinion, I just love watching some realistic love scenes. Other than that, this was a very good series, loved every second of it.

Definitely.Although heartbreaking, I enjoy the realism similar to Your Name Engraved Herein.
Wow true! That was also amazing. Tho I must say this one hit harder. Maybe because this is a series and we had more time to connect with the characters.

On Love in the Big City Oct 24, 2024
I dont know what to say about this one... Would it be too much if I say this was one of the best bls of all time? Such a heavy story but such a great, light way to tell that story. I lost mysef in the reality of the story and the characters. It felt like Go Yeong is really my friend. I laughed and cried with him, I got mad with him I got mad at him. He was not flawless he was not perfect and he was so real. I enjoyed watching this emotional life story so so much...

It breaks my heart reading news about public reaction to Love in the Big City in Korea. They never understand do they? Im sure a very similar or even bigger of a reaction my country would give. It feels sad, so sad...

I also liked this drama, and while I understand why you hated Bae Seok Ryu's mom, I saw her as a complex character.…
Yeah I agree with you. Its very natural this to be a popular one. I just read a lot of reviews about this being the romcom of the year. So probably that made my expectations sky high and I felt it was overrated. Still, I enjoyed it very much at the end.

Watch Unintentional Love Story. The chase continues.
I did actually. But I dont think they are the same characters. I know they meant to be but personalities and the relationship between them is super duper different. They dont feel the same for sure. I want to watch these boys more not them lol

I also liked this drama, and while I understand why you hated Bae Seok Ryu's mom, I saw her as a complex character.…
Actually I found her selfish rather than controlling. She didnt try to control her actions when Seok Ryu was in USA and she could show off of her daughter. She tried to control her when her daughter was out of her 'perfect' image. I also didnt like her attitude to her son and husband as well. I dont know I didnt like her overall.

Also Im a sucker for slow romance actually lol. I just felt like the built of story should've lead to stinky cute lovey dovey scenes but I felt dissatisfaction.

I binged too, which is the only way I watch series, but I dont know maybe I saw everybody talking about how amazing this series is all over the place so I ended up thinking it was overrated.

I did really like this series, here some of my very honest opinions about it.
Jung Hae In is one of my favorite actors ever and I really love Jung So Min as well. I've seen EVERYTHING they'v ever been in. I think hey were amazing in this series too.
Jung Hae In is born to play 'man in love'. I dont think anybody would argue this. He is purely amazing with those puppy eyes, looking full of love and he is the perfect boyfriend material for sure.
I empathized with Bae Seok Ryu so much in the beginning. Im a woman in similar ages with no spesific dream and I also sometimes feel like Im driven away with the wind. Her being lost in her life, health issues, fears, indecisiveness made me feel very close to her.
I hated Bae Seok Ryu's mom so so much! She was not the evil character but for me she was the hidden evil under a good face.
It felt somehow frustrating watching this through the episodes. Somethings were repeating over and over and I couldnt feel any sort of satisfaction. I couldnt see that very much expected stinking love scenes and couldnt feel that extreme chemistry for the couple.
Main story, characters and most details were very good so I enjoyed watching but to be pure honest I think it is slightly overrated.

I think this series has amazing potential and a very cute story. But I just seriously didnt like Taishin. I see what kind of a character they wanted to create but I think they couldnt, there was something wrong. He wasnt that naive, cute, innocent boy we would've expect. He was like a 7 year old boy who knows nothing about the world. It wasnt cute at all. I didnt like that he was stuttering all the time. Not like when he is nervous or scared, like ALL THE TIME! Innocence is okay, being like a 7 year old is not. Dating with him must felt ethically wrong lol.

Can someone tell me what exactly this episode is? is it a compilation of the couple's scenes from the original…
It is probably a compilation of the side gl couple. Its not out yet but I think it would be good to watch that couple's story from the original series and then watch the compilation. Thats usually the best way.

I did enjoy the show. But I think what made me like is my love for MosBank. I think they are one of the best couples in bl world. Mos is like the description of the word 'sexy' and Bank is so pretty. They have the perfect harmony and flawless nc scenes together. For reai, nc scenes are masterpieces!!! So watching them together is always a joy for the eyes. But to be purely honest, nothing really happened through this series. Like NOTHING! There wasnt a solid storyline. It could've been a 3-4 episode short series or even a movie. Fantasy elements didnt feel belonged, they were very much forced into the scenario. I did like all the couples but their relationship growth were not worth for a whole series. Over all there wasnt much to like about this but I ended up liking anyways. That means I just like MosBank :)

Title 23.5
Why I mention here, that disgusting user mention blank on 23.5. If you guys don’t like blank, just ignore it,…
I'd never say fiction is not open to critique. But everything you criticize up there are about normal things. They might be in a fantasy movie but the subjects are not fiction, subjects are normal humanly problems. So I can discuss with you all about them in a logical conversation becaue all of them are also possible in any other sort of non fantasy movies as well. On the other hand, when you try to find an ethical problem in a relationship between a supernatural character and a human just because a very illogical age gap, that sounds abnormal cuz that is pure fiction right there.

Well, at this point Im sure we both clearly understand eachother's point of views yet we just have completely different opinions.

I cant possibly explain the emotional value of this series to anybody. Im a hardcore nubdao (DaouOffroad fan). Watching a couple of scenes/episodes of this or Love in Translation became my daily routine. Leaving my nubdao personality and being completely objective, this series, still is one of the best quality series of the year. Scenario, storyline, all actors and above all Daou Offroad were amazing! I just love love love this. Cant find a more proper word.

A very well thought storyline, AMAZING acting. Its not the epic love story of all time and it has its own shortcomes for sure, but it was a very good series overall.

Omg how sensitive you are???? I wonder which of your favorite couple I offended by calling them the founders of the industry. Does it really matter?
Also, I said 'LIKE the founders of the industry'.
If you still need a correction let me say 'like the founders of the industry FOR ME'.
