The changing relationship of the second couple in Adult Trainee reminded me of the leads from FFMY. The dynamic in FFMY seems more sweet and supportive to me while the Adult Trainee dynamic keeps you guessing, but both shows are funny with great chemistry. Adult Trainee is really focused on the character's relationships, while FFMY has a broader message about working towards dreams.

JBL is more melo and sad, while HCCC is way more of a romcom. But the way the MLs in both shows help and care for people in their communities and FLs in both shows get curious about the MLs and want to know more about them seem very similar. It's also cool that both shows give a glimpse of the FLs' jobs and show us how passionate and skilled they are.

Both dramas have a morally gray lead who manipulates those around them and keeps you guessing about their intentions. Great characters and engaging stories.

Here's My Plan has more dark humor while JBL is more soft/melo, but they both have a slice of life feel and show characters dealing with difficult life and family circumstances.

Both have tough and assertive female leads whose actions you don't always approve of. If you liked the morally gray Jo Yi Seo from Itaewon Class, you'll love the focus on the FL in Here's My Plan.

Here's My Plan has a similar tough and assertive FL . You don't always approve of the FL's actions in either show but you slowly understand why they are the way they are and keep everyone at a distance. Similar dynamics, but Here's My Plan has more slice of life vibes while IOTNBO has more fantasy/melo vibes.

Quiet/shy MLs and energetic FLs that help them break out of their shells. Where Stars Land feels more slice of life, while Introverted Boss has more romcom vibes

You are My Hero actually has a couple scenes where characters are watching Go Go Squid! I think both of them are novel adaptations. They feature a more serious ML who has a soft side for a very sweet FL. In Go Go Squid, this dynamic is much more extreme, but in You are My Hero, ML softens up more with FL and they end up in a more equal joking and fun relationship. What really reminds me of the two dramas is how mature the relationship is between the leads and how much they trust each other. Both MLs also have a sort of found family following because of their careers who really support the main relationship.

Both dramas cover memorials and loss in a soft, slice of life way. Into the Ring is much more comedic and politics oriented, while Just Between Lovers is more melancholic and focused on the architecture/construction industry. Both dramas explore complicated relationships with parents and the frustration of trying to create change in a world determined to be stagnant. I really love the initiative both FLs take and how confident they are in pursuing their relationships. The main couples' personalities aren't very similar except that they both start out as friends and maintain emotional support for each other even after they start dating; truly two of my favorite drama couples.

Both dramas involve protagonists challenged by powerful conglomerates. So far, both have pretty dark villains and even some cast overlap. The found families in each drama especially seem similar. Vincenzo is more of an anti-hero drama while Itaewon Class involves a less morally grey protagonist. Both have minor LGBTQ+ storylines. I love the confident badass female characters and the cool and driven male leads in both dramas.

Scarlett reminds me so much of Goo Se Ra. They're both funny, justice-oriented, and optimistic in the work they do. Their fluffy relationship dynamics with their respective partners are also similar; both women are so high energy, confident, and adoring and their partners are so soft. Both shows also have great depictions of female careerwomen and friendships as well as themes of politics and power.
