This series is like crack. Its toxic and not good for my mental health but I just keep watching! Its feels more like I'm also in the shoes of Little Jane, caught in P'Jane's trap lol! The song fits this show to a T and I'm here for it!!

That's a very cynical view of life. And again, like I said, it depends on the character of the person. The 'statistics' or reports won't consider the entire population necessarily, so stating something as facts based on that is biased. You're saying men inevitably cheat, which sounds more like an opinion and personal than just data derived from statistics. lol.

Nowadays both cheat. What's your point? If a person has no self control and bad morals they'll cheat and not like these two characters. They don't necessarily need to be in love or have some issues with their sexuality to cheat.

Istg I don't want that to take place in the series, it'd be the worst direction to go for..Idc if its in the source material or not I want them to not go for it. And yeah I also watch their lives everyday and everytime they're doing something crazy lol.

That's the thing.. they're straight or they think they are. And in China you still can't be be anything apart from that or there will be backlash..so the point is that they'll take time to figure out everything along with analysing whether their feelings are real or a result of the method acting..This still doesn't justify them doing stuff behind their girlfriends back and the show knows it. It's not (till now) implied that their actions are okay so why are all these people assuming that it is? It's so irritating.

The amount of people who have rated this 1 or 3 coz of 'cheating' is crazy. I'd like to see if they have such clear boundaries in their lives, and have never, even emotionally been involved with someone else when they were in a relationship. Irony is that most people nowadays are doing a lot on the side despite being in a relationship so itsn't this reflecting a watered down version of the reality we live in now? If you wanna watch disney channel fairytales go watch that, stop rating this show based on your one-sided views. You don't know the whole story, why they behave the way they do, what happens as a result, you know nothing btw, so how can you rate this based on half of the information? This pisses me off so much.

If you don't like it, stop watching. Simple.

I selfishly hope they show none of that..I'm liking this so far, despite all the controversies, and if all of this happens in the future episodes saying that it'd be a disappointment is an understatement.

From what I saw, they don't like the cheating plot. Which is okay but then they've also rated something 10/10 where the main character rapes the other, and they get a happy ending..seems like double standards to me. Anyways the other most common reason is that they have done stiff acting. Even if I were to believe that, they are still acting in their very first roles so like does it deserve a 1 based on that? I don't think so.

That one is connected to their real personalities tho. The reason why they are so attracted to each other and feel connected is also becoz of it. I think more would be revealed later but yeah consider those two as a kind of a second pair or second male leads.

Many have not rated it since its still airing or given a 1/10 based on what they didn't like, so maybe that's the reason it doesn't have a better rating. I feel similarly, but we'll have to wait till the end to see if this improves.

Omg I really need all that to not happen. I feel like that would not go with the narrative of this series, since to me it felt like a journey where the characters heal from their traumas while they find something new together, face themselves and come out stronger. But if all of this goes back to the same place where it all started, then what's the point even? That would not only be such a waste of potential but also really depressing and a bad ending, essentially.

Do you mean the acting part of Ollie? Fang Chi? If that's what you're refering to then I'll suggest you still watch them or know what's happening since it might be important later in the story

They are none of that tho. They can't accept off the bat that their boyfriends might have been cheating, which is understandable, but if you watched the entire episode you'd see that what you said you won't do for a man was exactly what Yun Ting, Zhen Xin's gf, said to Danyi, who wanted to run after Zhang Zhun. Till now they haven't shown much of the clingy behavior. Its hinted that this show won't be following those cliches so you can watch their scenes with an open mind.

Glad to see someone understands. While green flag characters are good to watch, they sometimes can feel too perfect, which is not how humans really are. In reality even someone who's a 'green flag' can have thoughts or do stuff that's morally grey. But the consequences of their actions, how they change from that or learn something new about themselves, that's what's interesting to watch. If there's mindless cheating or hook-ups, for the act rather than the feelings, that would feel more like a bad character we can fully hate or dislike. But in the drama, the way they are portrayed is not just that, there are so many nuances, some yet to be revealed.
