Odd like how? Currently they seem really good friends, from all the lives and other content I watched, and I'll admit I want them to do more projects together..tho idk if that's even possible since its China and they might want to diversify their career by doing other roles outside the BL genre.

This series has done it. Its my new obsession. Now I can't sit and watch something without thinking of this. Whenever I start to get bored, I think of this and rewatch all episodes again. Yeah ig I'll crash out when this is over, and it'd be bad. But 12 eps is just not ENOUGH, there is still so much that can be done with these characters. Like what happens after they get together? It definitely won't be easy in the industry. There has to be a season 2 to this, idk. I just really want these two actors to work together in a project again, even tho its likely that they won't.

Omg I love how you break down each scene so well. It really helps us think along too and understand some of the nuances that might be missed while watching this show, its just so intense. The snow scene is definitely the most beautiful, but I somehow loved all those little moments more, starting from the one with the rose and the hotpot scene too. I also saw your comment in Payback, and then you posted this lol, and somehow I'm in the same situation, while watching something else I end up thinking of this show and coming back here to see what others have to say about it coz I'm that obsessed lol.

Yeah. I was shocked. Idk how many times this show has surprised me lol. I was totally waiting for her to scheme something up, maybe coz I'm so used to it, and when she didn't I was in disbelief. Then that reveal at the end again made me question whether it was her who did it, but I'm glad it wasn't.

Wow. She's so chill. Literally never seen that before. I'm happy that she's not the scheming one dimensional female character everyone expects her to be.

IKR. I was shocked how easily they said some things without beating around the bush. Like never seen that in any show,movies,series ever. Atleast the asian ones.

idk lol it could also be that it wasn't penetrative sex but ZX rubbing off on ZZ..they didn't explicitly say what it was and in the novel I think that's what happened.

They didn't do it, tho they did other things. Yeah they are morally grey characters so their actions are questionable at best.

I think someone who's read the novel said that nothing happened in that scene, like ZX didn't go all the way since ZZ was drunk and also the next morning when he woke up he didn't feel anything so..

Technically they didn't cheat, since the time they were dealing with these feelings they were also acting. If they continued this and slept with their girlfriends too pretending it was all fine, that would've been bad. I was kinda thinking they would do that, but I'm glad they didn't.

Some of the things they show and talk about, I've never seen talked about before in a show or series, especially a chinese one. Its refreshing but dark at the same time, the things they deal with and the situation they're in. Speaking of the real actors themselves, Ollie and Shu yuan, I honestly never expected them to act so well, considering their age and that this is their first performance in a series. Sometimes it felt like shu yuan had a wooden face and some stiff moments, but his delivery of Gao Zhun in ep 6 when he's reliving his trauma, was done so well I was shocked! Its only a handful of times that I've seen rookies nail their roles and this is one of those! Ollie is talented as well, and stays pretty consistent in both his roles as FC and ZX. The casting is perfect.

The misunderstandings are always there and played up to the extreme, it has ruined a lot of dramas and other media for me but in this case its just stupid. They just don't want to have an honest conversation about what really matters to them and what's really going on, then later the resentment builds up and reaches a breaking point. Gets resolved after 10 years. Starts all over again. Rinse and repeat.
