waste of everything
this was such a bad show and no, i am not sour because my favorite didn't debut or because the name is not pretty. the system WAS SO BAD. im serious. the audience had to vote but for some reason the audience's vote had almost no power on rankings and eliminations and then the dates didnt line up because the previews were so?? it showed they had already eliminated trainees but i had to still vote for my fav trainee who there was a big chance that was already eliminated so what am i voting for???????and then with the sh*t show the final was, it all made sense. tell me how the audience voting for top 2 and judges choosing 4 makes sense for a show like this. AND ON TOP OF THAT, ONLY DOMESTIC VOTERS CAN VOTE. how are you marketing a group as global and not giving global fans a chance to vote?? they already had a group lineup, they just wanted a way to debut them and since the label is a broadcasting company, a survival show is obviously the only choice.
i'm happy for the girls because seeing them since day1 it makes me happy they can debut but it was soso bad I can't even enjoy the group lineup. the eliminated contestants deserve better. they will definitely do better outside of this.
this show is not what you expect from a company like that. hybe should do research on voting survival shows and then think of a better clear plan to execute it. this felt like they had run out of time and put together what they could with the show which led to the bad result (im not even getting into how bad evaluations interim were with the judges)

sometimes a predictable ending is better
part 1 (ep 1-6)i went in knowing nothing and finished ep 6 with very high expectations for any other drama in this same genre. its very stupid to make highschoolers train for war but its fiction so whatever. everything was really cool, the story line was unique and the acting was perfect. some characters were annoying throughout every episode but i had to cut them slack because yk a war, high school kids, a lot of fear and stress. when i finished it i had very high hopes that a certain someone would come back to life magically but i still didnt think it would affect too much the next episodes whether it happened or not.
part 2 (ep 7-10)
honestly i think the writers just didnt know how to wrap it up nicely. i feel like they lost track of the actual story line from part1 because suddenly the spheres werent the main issue anymore. the end was understandable but at the same time it didnt make sense??. in my opinion if they just wanted to kill everyone they shouldve let the spheres do it instead of turning it into the mess that mass killing was. i know it is a realistic consequence of giving kids gun and the stress and trauma of being part of something apocalyptic but bro if i wanted to see that i could just turn on the news because sadly theres a lot of news like that in my tv. and then the drama ended and we still dont know why the spheres were there, where they came from or anything. really disappointed but i got too attached to the characters to say harsh things
i would recommend it because it was really something good and different and i think everyone can make their own opinions and thoughts on their own. dont know if everyone would like it tho

X boyfriend O boy friends
quite the ride with this one. even though it's short it kinda felt a little too long. this felt more like a bunch of guys in a house for a few days than guys in a dating show. the guys felt a little too awkward throughout it but I don't know if it is more the difference in culture than awkwardness. there were also a lot of cuts when they went out with the coffee truck and there were not many opportunities to date with other guys which left me ?. people also came and went which didn't give much opportunityfor them to develop anything other than a friendship. as a brand new show I understand these are parts that may improve so i didn't dwell too much in it but i do wish we had seen more development between all the guys. still, big win for the community in japan. also kazuto??? I need to know what he uses to attract this many men.

beautiful stories with amazing cast but lack of depth all around
interesting concept to try. with AI seemingly doing almost anything in the world, a service like wonderland where people can still communicate with those loved ones that are in a coma or dead is not so far fetched. still, the movie doesn't go too in depth about anything. everything is very surface level which only leaves you with questions and an incredulous look at the end. did these people have pros and cons before choosing the service? did they do it right away or when they couldn't cope with their grief anymore? the system and wonderland on its own was also never explained. we don't know how it started, why, by who, for who and if everyone is on the service or are there people against it? (much like right now in the real world). a lot of angles that could have been explored and added so much to the movie so at the end, the movie feels very lacking.stellar cast tho. it's almost surreal to see them all in a single project

endearing and unique.
since it was the first season, you could tell much of the budget went towards the dates and the cast as well as the producers were figuring out everything but the whole system of the cards mission I thought was very unique and entertaining. I'm not one to watch a lot of dating shows since it's real people and not actors doing fictional work, I thought 'his man' had real drama, struggle and dialogue. it was well developed by the people behind the scenes. I hope to see more reality shows of these kinds, especially from a country like South Korea.the show was enjoyable. though you could tell they were awkward with each other and thought twice about their actions, it was nice to see their interactions. I hope the cast created a friendship, more than anything and find comfort in meeting more people who understand them and what they have to face everyday in a society who still finds an issue with other's preferences and lives.

god, saints, angels, the universe everything and everyone was on their side for this to happen
the luck the producers had to make this happen?? to get all these people at the same time??? yeah they were blessed. the only drama i havent watched is love in the moonlight but i still enjoy the actor's other works so i quite literally love everyone. i didnt expect to fall more in love and make a big space for every single one of them in my heart.the games were amazing!! + funny and entertaining. i laughed out loud every night and got sad every time i had to wait days for the next episode because they were all just so so entertaining and fun.
the cast were all funny and even tho their personalities clashed they still had so much fun. i initially thought it was going to be a teams game but i loved seeing them get mixed up and i loved how close they got at the end :(( <3 literally a fan's dream to have their faves interact like this. i hope it gets another season. i would not complaing if we got more actors too. i just think this was a perfect idea. 10/10 variety shows i would rewatch.
