Not gonna lie, Ritsu is looking more and more sus with each subsequent scene. But he's also hella cute, so I'm willing to put my colored glasses on ๐
Fumiya, I don't know about. Reserving my judgement for now. Something seems off about him, on top of all the obvious stuff. But similarly to Ritsu's case, I'm lenient ๐ (for now ๐ถ)
This started very unforgotten night like, but unfortunately that didn't last ๐ข
I liked the campfire flashback scene! It was majorly awkward, but in a nice way. Also, poor Cowherder and Weaver Girl ๐
Marc guy from My Gear and your Gown - I like to see familiar faces, but his character was kinda lamey. Wouldn't mind seeing more of him if he gets some agency (and smarts) ๐
The plot didn't interest me much, though. It looked almost hillariously bad at the beginning, but then got messy with the missing people, hiding people, mafia people and (potentially) in disguise people. The ending got dark, but not in a wow manner. I guess it can still be made into something entertaining, but this episode didn't sell it as such.
The plot is a swiss cheese, editing a scrambled egg, all topped with some coarse angst and syrupy clichรฉs. Needless to say, I freaking love it! It's my ultimate post-depression junk food. I'm blind to bad acting when it's of hot guys being emotional, and doubly so when they are shirtless. Who cares if people are dropping like flies in it? Certainly not screenwriters! Half of the characters could be ommited and it would make no difference. Timeline is a construct the production didn't have a budget to properly build. Should it bother me? Maybe. Probably. I've certainly bashed other shows for less! But this one is so cute and blue and dreamlike, I really don't mind how bad everything else on its own should taste.
Aside from the stupid bs clichรฉ angsty drama, the final episode was pretty good! I might even consider watching a special episode, if it isn't too much PSA.
As for the whole drama - it got better towards the end, but I still can't forget how painful the first half of the show was for me. The characters acted nonsensical and inconsistent (in Noey's case you could blame it on his age, but Thi had no such excuse) and the plot was repetitive nothing. Later on - plot hasn't changed much, but the characters sit down and grow on you. I suspect this would be a better experience as a binge.
So, what to make of it? Average 7.5. After the cute ending, 7 would feel too cruel. But this ain't no 8+ show in my book, for reasons stated above. It's a BL that won't overwhelm you, and can get annoying or boring at times ๐
I'll probably drop this. I've seen first two episodes (which were okay-ish), but it doesn't look like this got any better. It's gloomy, but not sad enough. The actors look forgettable. I have little motivation to continue it now, but I might pick it up again when there's lack of short BLs ๐
The ending was underwhelming and weird. So much, Onoe started to remind me of Amagi from Takara-kun to Amagi-kun (not a compliment). It was also completely unnecessary. I hope the trend of ending BLs with useless drama dies.
But overall, it's about an average short BL. I'd give it 7.5, but for MDL standards it's like 7.8 show. So I'll be generous and give it an awkward 8. For Masayan. He was the real MVP in all of this ๐
Ok, episode 11. Despite all the clichรฉ curses, I was really enjoying it! Right until the end. WTF WAS THAT?!! HAVE YOU NOT HAD ENOUGH? "Study abroad", "disapproving parents", "love rival"... did you really had to add that bs in the final minutes??
I don't even want to think of the mess episode 12 is going to be now. Not cool ๐ก
On one hand it's super cute. It also has an interesting story, and feels pretty natural at times.
On the other hand, it's full of plot holes. The pacing is off, editing jumps wherever it wants to and creates a whiplash when it goes back and forth to something we haven't seen in episodes.
They could leave out half of that stuff and it would be a much better experience.
The police is brain-comatose. That's one stupid set-up if I may say so ๐
I feel almost sorry for her. Some people just shouldn't have children (at least not so soon).
No! Not her! Gods, send her back to episode 4 and never return ๐
...And she's even more annoying and petty then before. Palm should finally reject her, take Nuengdiao into setting sun and live there happily ever after ๐งก
At least she ain't daft. Still annoying, but I can feel some self-respect shining through.
It's all about us. All about us, it's all about, all about us. (And this HYA face oil ๐)
Too fast!
How much money? Did they really not even bother asking?? ๐
It made no sense for Nueng to go there alone.
WHY AREN'T THEY RUNNING AWAY FROM THE PLACE? Their position has already been compromised, at least twice!
And that was anticlimatic.
"OwNeRsHiP Of YoU" Let us hope this one is a translation issue ๐
You're lucky Palm is so darn adorable.
I wouldn't even guess, without the comically evil-looking person and ridiculous map close-up ๐คฏ
Why doesn't he just buy a basic mp3 player? That would be like 30 dollars, top.
100 000 baht isn't cheap cheap, even here. You could find usable smartphone for third of that.
I liked the confession scene. His english was a bit off, but that's realistic. Certainly better than some other equal marriage PSAs we've seen.
LMAO 100 bahts a day?? That's modern day slavery!
Someone needs to beat that jerk up, again. So much that he changes school. He's almost cartoonishly villainous by now.
And of course the gays are getting married right away!! Who even are all those people? Did their families arrive last minute, or are they just randoms from around the town?
Not a song I'd choose for the walk, but whatever. Gotta plug in the OST as much as you can ๐

Screw Dew, and P'Games deserved better. I ain't wasting more words on this 6.09 headache.

Second couple is getting boring, I hope there's more to them than this. Unless they change substantially, they're gonna fall into background.
Story is whatever it wants to be. A bit sadder than I'd like lately, but who cares. We ain't watching this for its elaborate plot ๐
As if the whole time-travel fateful connection meeting isn't weird enough ๐ญ๐ญ

With what money did Mr. Nueng buy that cap? ๐ค
Money, money, money...

Nuengdiao is a mood.
Wouldn't be at all surprised if he really isn't, though ๐ถ
But let's hear it for the main supporting character: the earthquake!
LMAO this girl has audacity! There's no worth in sugar if it's laced with arsenic ๐
And that's certainly a murder attempt. Not something a sane person would do just because someone "was mean" to their boss โบ๏ธ
