Watch it for the food!
I hadn't seen the leads in other roles, and I enjoyed them both in this. I liked his goofiness. He and the FL bickered like an old married couple, which was cute. The secondary characters that helped them with the restaurant were fun to watch as well. The food was beautifully displayed and filmed.
My problem with this show was that it went off the rails with the entrance of the ex-boyfriend. I always like to see Yoo Yeon Seok in anything, but this storyline departed too far from the original storyline and then we lost time trying to get it back on track.
And can we talk about the ML's mother?!? What a nightmare (as she was meant to be)! But when she cheated during the competition and the French guy knew it, she should have been called out on it.
